So this is a place that is in Chinatown right here on Keefer Street. I used to come here all the time when I used to work down the street on East Pender there. But it's changed now. This is the new place. It used to be Ken's Kitchen.

To be honest with you, taste wise, it's an upgrade from Ken's Kitchen. Price wise, I mean, I used to go to Ken's Kitchen a long time ago, so you can't really compare, but the price is really good. It was 15 bucks with tax, without tips. Like 15 something for two items, and she let me split the carbs with a fried rice, which was just spot on, like Hong Kong fried rice. Hong Kong style fried rice with shrimp, minced pork and egg. And it has that taste where you know that oil that they're using and the rice is a high quality rice. It has that taste where... And the eggs are done just right. Nice and soft, and yeah, it was really good. And the shrimps, really good.

And yeah, the flat fried beef noodles, they were, again, that distinct Hong Kong flavor noodles. So for a place at this price point, you get all this food for 15 bucks, that's a really good deal. I'm definitely coming back.

I had the spicy chicken, and this was at the end of the day, so everything wasn't as fresh as obviously in the beginning of the day. This is at the end of the day where they're packing up and they're giving some of the dishes for discount prices if you buy them in bulk. But it still was really good, especially the fried rice. It was a fresh batch so, really good. Again, I can't stress enough, it's a distinct Chinese fried rice with the Chinese fried noodles. Really good. I'm definitely going to be coming back.

Ken's Kitchen was good. Ken's Kitchen was always busy. Ken's Kitchen was really affordable, like a cheap price point, basically. But Ken's Kitchen, I don't think was as good as this. This is definitely an upgrade, and there's a lot of other dishes. I only had this combination, the fried rice with the half fried rice and half fried noodles.

Oh, another thing too. Those crispy little bean sprouts and onions that they put in the fried noodles. Yeah, everything was just very, very standard and, I don't know what the word is but, yeah, just a very... You're at the better end of the spectrum of good Chinese fried rice which, you know, Chinese fried rice, you can't beat it. Okay, bye.

Used to be Kent's Kitchen. But it is gone due to gentrification in Chinatown. Kent's kitchen is now at Victoria and 41st avenue. This place, is somewhat cheap. For White people, they love their sweet & sour pork, fried noodles and fried rice. But as a Chinese person, the quality of food is not that great.

My usual item I get this time around the salmon looked very unpleasant, it looked like it’s been sitting in the cooler/freezer for a long time and the shelf life looks about to expire. The salmon was not pinkish salmon colour anymore but all brown and mushy. They say it’s fresh and recently made but it’s obviously not.

Taste and value of food is subpar, no repeats for me. Service was ok, could add a few tables and chairs for dine in option.

Got 3 items combo: beef brisket, salt and pepper fried pork chops, and eggplant with tofu.

Flavours spot on, generous portions, minimal conversation 👍🏻 everything was hot and fresh. It was enough for for two people! While I miss Kent's kitchen's braised beef brisket, these guys do it very well!

Rude service by the woman serving.
Food not fresh greasy and like it was re-heated yesterday's unsold food.
Ken's Kitchen was here prior and in no way this place comes even close to the freshness and quality.

Don't waste your money here go elsewhere.

It's 6pm and not one customer inside.
