Good food, good wine list, good atmosphere, with excellent service. My one complaint is that they had no Peroni beer. Peroni should be in a every Italian restaurant, as it's Italy's national beer! When I brought this to the owners attention he was a bit snarley and defensive about it, instead of being gracious and understanding.
So pleased that Tavola is open for brunch/lunch on weekends! The street side patio welcomes dogs and provides a calm and attractive dining experience for a summer day. Our server, Anita, greeted us warmly and provided both attentive service and excellent recommendations! The food and drinks were very high quality and enjoyed by all in our group. We are looking forward to a return visit!
This little neighbourhood Italian spot in the Westend often flys under the radar, but it’s well worth repeat visits. Their dishes are consistently fresh and delicious with excellent daily specials. The wine list is a little limited considering the calibre of food they offer, but one can usually find something decent at good value.
