It's been a few years since I've travelled to Thailand and I genuinely felt like I was back when I ate here. The food is very authentic and the portion sizes are very generous for the price!!

Highly recommend getting here early (even on weeknights) if you're planning to dine-in for dinner. We showed up for a table for 2 at 6pm and got the last table on a weeknight.

They also have a lovely patio if you want to enjoy some Cambie...

Thai Away Home is a staple takeout option in my rotation. They have one of the best deals in the city which includes crispy veggie wontons, salad, noodles, curry, coconut rice, and hot and sour soup broth for $50. Portions are HUGE and my boyfriend and I are usually left with enough leftovers for the next day. We always get the same—tofu pad Thai, red curry with chicken (both medium spice). Prices are a bit higher than expected, but the experience is absolutely worth it. The waiter’s service was great and the attention was excellent. My partner and I ordered the combo for two, which came with plenty of food — even enough to take some home.
The big surprise of the night was the hot soup: I wish I had a mirror to see my own reaction when I tasted it — it’s out of this world! An incredible flavor that alone would make me come back.
