Delicious food and really generous portions for the price

Been coming here for 15 years. Recently seemed to have changed people and prices. Used to be really busy around lunch, now it's pretty slow.
The pho doesn't taste as good anymore. Super chewy brisket and less flavorful broth. Still good portions, but lower quality meat. One meatball cut into 4 slices. Had to throw away all the brisket it tasted like it had gone bad. Waste of $16. Service is always meh, but it used to be really delicious. Now I probably won't be back.

The best vroken rice I've tried so far. The dish comes with 2 pieces of grilled pork chop, big portion, I asked for extra green onion as I love it, meat pie is fluffy and juicy, the shredded pork skin mixed is so good. The tea is good, service is friendly.
Please take note that they only take cash, and they offer 10% off on Wednesday (???) as I recalled

My favorite place to get lemongrass chicken. Big portions, decent prices, absolutely delicious.

I usually order take‑out from this restaurant, but this time I decided to dine in. It was fairly quiet during my dinner visit to Thai Son on Victoria Drive. The food quality was good—the soup arrived hot, and the chicken had a slight char, which is pretty typical for Vietnamese dishes. Overall, everything was served nice and warm.
Service was minimal despite the restaurant being quiet. I had to wait a few minutes for a server to pass by before I could ask for a teapot refill.
There’s a small parking lot in front of the restaurant, but it’s shared with other businesses in the complex, so spaces are limited. Fortunately, there’s free street parking available along Victoria Drive and on 49th Avenue.

Delicious food. The beef brisket stew is very good. They do not skimp on the meat. Spring rolls are very good as is the pho. Very popular place.

I got take out because I was in a hurry and had errands to do. I'm always on the go and if I have the chance to have something gluten free I would, it digests better and it's much healthier. I tried their vietnamese prawn salad roll and it was very satisfying. Fresh rolls are a healthier option as fast food. I was set to complete my errands with a full tummy.

The food and overall service were actually good, but I had a confusing experience at the cashier. My bill was about $60 and I paid $100. They gave me around $30 back, so I thought tips were included and just took the bills, leaving the coins. Then the staff asked for tips again, and I gave another $5.
When I stepped outside and did the math, it didn’t add up. I went back, and they claimed they had given me $40, but I clearly only received $30. After I pointed it out, they quickly gave me the extra $10 without explanation.
This felt very strange and left me questioning their honesty. I hope the restaurant improves transparency at the front desk to avoid similar experiences for other customers.

The lady that runs this location is very nice and makes sure everyone is happy. The pho here is perfect seasoning and it always taste the same.

Noodle completely broken, less than 2 inch long each, the last time I was there.
The food was alright, service not too bad, but I was in shock to see that they store bottles of unused oil and some chemicals for cleaning in the washroom for customers, right next to the toilet. There is also a mouse trap right under the sink, doesn’t look safe for kids
Literally so delicious. The portions were so big I had to take some home to finish! Very filling and with great deliciousness I would definitely come back. Too bad it’s empty most of the time, this place is so underrated! The rice is perfectly cooked, the egg is nice and runny and it pairs so well with the rice! The chicken was so tender and I loved the pickled carrots and radish. It was so crisp and juicy. Lots of spoons and utensils on the tables and many seating options. Waiters had a language barrier but the numbered menus really did help. All I had to do was point at the number and say how many I wanted. Definitely recommended I would have this every day if I could! Price isn’t so bad for once person. It’s filling and big portion so it’s worth the price.
The broth and portions were pretty good.
Cash-only establishment so just don’t forget if you add a tip, it’s on top of the tip that Canadian taxpayers are already giving them on their underreported income.
Used to love coming here to eat while I was growing up. Cost of all the dishes has gone up too much recently and now no longer worth it in my opinion.
Not to mention that my most recent experience, the food tasted old and the plate of bean sprouts I was given was spoiled. I couldn’t finish my meal due to the taste.
This place is not the gem it used to be anymore. Will not be coming back.
