Small restaurant, appears to be family run. Staff was friendly but not the quickest in service. Came here for the banh cuon and was not disappointed at all. Menu was limited to banh cuon and crab noodle soup or fish cake noodle soup. Definitelu come back for the banh cuon.

This place many times we eat here ,the price on the menu is so different that she charge you at any price .We have a plate there say on menu $22 and when we pay she charge us $28 saying because we eat here not take out .There is nothing saying we charger more for eatung un ,she can charge any price she want ,it an old lady in her 50.Beware of this happenjng so many tines.

The Vietnamese family-run business has a homely feel, and the rice noodles are just like that. The best thing is that their steamed rice rolls are very smooth and delicious. I recommend them. What I see is that every customer orders this dish.

Don't come for the service, come for the food. You're paying $20-$25 for two people to eat. I don't know what kind of service you would expect. You want service and atmosphere? Go somewhere that your drink alone will cost you $25.The food is what people come for. I'm from Northern Vietnam and the food here is exactly what I would get back home. Super authentic and delicious and even the shrimp/ fish cake soup is wonderful. Light and not too sweet. IMO Hoang Yen is too sweet and more to Southern VN taste so I still prefer Thanh Xuan, and so does every other Northern VN person I know. And obviously their banh cuon is best you can get in this city, and is also what they're known for.
