Incredibly rude server.
Super cozy. I got the crunchy cocoa milktea.
Card only, but additional charge for using card.
Not cheap drinks with minimum customizational options…
Drinks were nothing special compared to other bubble tea chains around. Service from the cashier felt unwelcoming.
Today I bought a cup of Royal No. 9 milk tea with boba. The boba was delicious, but the milk tea tasted terrible
I have been coming here for over a year when I stay at the nearby Sheraton (half a block away). The service has always been impeccable when the owner is there or with any of his crew when he is not there. They are all knowledgeable about the products they are serving and they recommend the best they have in sugar free optionsn for me. I have tried all the flavors that don't come with added sugar, such as jasmine, Royal #9 (blueberry infused), matcha, and Iron Goddess (oolong). The jasmine tea without the milk by itself also has excellent flavor. If they have time, they are also fun to talk to about local restaurant recommendations, life, and travel. I highly recommend The Alley for all the above reasons, along with their professional and rapid service
It's was the first time, the guy it wasn't in a good mood to take care of the order, he didn't even ask if we want sugar or ice, and i was so dumb to say something, so i got ice and regular sugar :/ i didn't ask for ice, i just wanted regular.
They charge you to pay with card (more than 0.20 for an $8.50 drink), but there is no option to pay with cash. I won't return for mediocre bubble tea, as there are better options around.
Decent flavours but very bad service. Also dislike how they don't let you pick your toppings, and charge you extra if you want to substitute (not add on). And their straws get soggy SO FAST.
The bubble teas from the Alley are amazing! The customer service atmosphere isn't that great though - expect to wait about 10-15 mins. Store is understaffed and the people working there seem to be unhappy. Small space with limited seating so you are best to take the bubble tea to go and stroll around downtown 😀

Cute little store and nice service. Even though the drinks are a bit overpriced IMO
And Alley went downhill over the last years with their drinks. The milktea tastes relatively bland and boring. Their White Peach Oolong was not enjoyable at all - too strong and bitter tea flavor (and not the good kind). Not sure if leaving the tea bag in is such a good idea either…
Such unfriendly staff! The drinks are good but not coming back because of the service.
TERRIBLE customer service! I had an Asian guy serving me and it seemed like he hated his job. Super rude. Definitely not coming back to this place - don’t recommend!
I asked for a brown sugar milk tea. They could do it with deerioca without the tea. Assuming that was something similar to tea, as I saw there were pictures of what looked like it, I said sure. I just got milk with pearls. Unsweetened. For 6.50$. How can you look someone in the eye and sell them 6.50$ milk. Are we serious. And the pearls were way too sweet. Why not suggest something actually similar, like Royal Milk Tea which looks like brown sugar milk tea.
getting more and more greedy with pearls, disappointing experience lately.
