Best of the best, bubble tea in Vancouver. Deerioca Ube Taro, I always order this menu, so so good!! 👍👍👍
Best in the neighborhood and awesome service every time
The guy in the white shirt and black Nike sweats was working very hard alone through a big rush. Really great service 😁 def recommend to people!!
The Boba pearls were hard but the drink was amazing and was the best tasting bubble tea we've had. Natural flavours and yummy boba flavour. The packaging is cute as well but the hard pearls were really disappointing, I did order at night so that might've played a part. Great
customer service as well 🎀
Not good anymore. Cashier was eating at the till and it was something smelly, like kimchi. Even if it was dead, maybe eat at the back? I don’t want to smell your breath.
Anyways, got the taro ube milk tea, and right away, you could taste that the pearls were hard on the inside and super sweet as it had been soaking in sugar for awhile.
For the price point, it’s pricey as you can get other bubble teas in the city for better quality and value nowadays. They need to up their bb tea game if they want to stay competitive in this market.
Their other competitor on Robson street is knocking it out of the ballpark with never ending line up, the one famous for their mango drink.
A little tricky to find, I almost walked past it!
I was craving boba while in town and The Alley looked like what I wanted! I got the ube brown sugar boba, delicious and quick service!
First time here with a friend for the first time and it was a cute little spot. The service was quick since we were there before their evening rush.
I had the passion fruit green tea and it was pretty good, a lot of pearls and jelly and was only available in a large size. It was a bit on the pricier side in comparison to what I'm used to paying for a similar drink at other bubble tea cafes, but it was good and curbed the craving.
Omfg the kiwi slush is so bomb. I literally bus from west van to downtown just to go here. Hands down one of the best boba shops in CANADA
The ambience is nice with a cute little shop in a busy market vibes. The staff was sweet too.
The boba itself was very mid. I got the classic milk tea and it was extremely watered down. Almost felt like I was having flavored water with boba.
BEST IN VANCOUVER!!
My family and I are new to Vancouver, and we spent the last week trying boba from every spot we came across. Most places left us feeling sick or disappointed. But then we found The Alley! Their Ube Taro is unmatched. Once you find a good spot, you don’t want to let it go, and this is that kind of place. I highly recommend checking it out!

Probably the worst Alley I've had, which makes me sad. I always get the Royal number 9, everywhere I go but this location does not have any blueberry notes nor strong tea flavor. It honestly just tastes like milk, that was expensive
poor customer service 💔
Edit: quite the response from the owner! Even more impressive that someone this childish has their mommy and daddy's money to waste on businesses with poor customer service! I had not come in recently, so I fortunately don't know who you're confusing me with. My review was in reference to last week when the gentleman at the till barely uttered a word to me and mumbled under his breath when I asked about contents of the trio milk tea!
Your defensive and paranoid response implies this isn't the first time a customer spoke out against the attitude you have:)
Best of luck in your emotional development, remember that one unhappy customer will send over a mass of negative reviews ♥️
I just placed an order for Mango Green tea with pearls and their pearls were SO hard!!! whyyy??? The drink itself is good but the boba are not enjoyable at all!
The crunch series is fabulous but literally everything on their menu is awesome!!
Let me remove my bubbles and I’ll edit this review to a 5
