After attending several cake tastings and beginning to feel uncertain, I was absolutely thrilled when I received the samples from Dalana. Without a doubt, her cake was the best I had tasted, and the flavors were truly exceptional. Dalana did an excellent job with the cake for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was really easy to communicate with and made the whole experience very simple and pleasant. Dalana made the cake/cupcakes for our wedding, and everything was absolutely delicious! All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the flavours. The groom and many of his family members are celiac, and they all loved Dalana’s gluten free options - if you are looking for gluten free baking, this is some of the best that we have had!

On top of everything tasting amazing, Dalana is a true artist and her cake design was beautiful. We sent her a copy of our wedding invitation and she incorporated the designs into the decoration of the cake.

We cannot recommend The Cake and the Giraffe enough!!

I am still dreaming of the cake Dalana made for our wedding! It was absolutely delicious and stunning and fit so perfectly with my garden party theme! The cupcakes were also a smash hit! We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a cake from The Cake & The Giraffe at our wedding, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The cake not only tasted delicious (we had two flavours - raspberry chocolate and passion fruit), but also perfectly matched our woodland theme. Dalana made the most delicious, moist beautiful bridal shower cake for us! Communicating with her was easy, stress free and she even delivered to the venue! I asked for a simple, elegant 2 tier cake and that was exactly what was delivered! Salted caramel pineapple, yum!

Dalana from The Cake and the Giraffe created the most beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding. We picked the lemon meringue flavour and it was outstanding!! The buttercream is so silky, the lemon curd was perfectly tart and the cake light and moist. Our cake looked better than the inspiration photo we provided. I couldn’t be happier with how it looked. Dalana is so talented and we will definitely use The Cake and the Giraffe again for special occasions!
