Came here for the ayce mussels, shrimp and fries deal for $47/pp. Service was absolutely amazing despite how busy they were and all our food came out fresh every round we ordered. Highly recommend you take advantage of the deal if you love seafood! Make sure you reserve beforehand to avoid waiting.

Great atmosphere..
We had a party of four and there were only two servers for the whole restaurant.
Our waitress could barely speak English and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times.
Food is great and the whole experience couldn't been a lot better.
We all have moments when we're not balanced it we have times where we are Incapable of being effective.
Our waitress could've been having one of those days.
So I'll be going back and hopefully I get treated with a little more service and someone who can speak enough English to understand our order.
Vegetarian options: Very good selection I'm not sure what the options are for vegetarian but I wouldn't bring a friend who doesn't eat meat.

I recommend Calamari! I suggest getting shrimp instead of crawfish because crawfish doesn’t have much meat. Hot Level of spiciness isnt spicy at all in my opinion.

A good one time experience. The taste is okayish, portion size for pricing doesn’t feel very reasonable but it was alright. Paid 80$ for 2 people. We got a dungeness crab and a pound of shrimp with the 3 sauces, prefer the crab over the shrimp !

I was really disappointed with my last visit on Oct 18 2024.
Food was not like before tasteless , service was slow, the servers are not welcoming ..I had this location as one of my best to go restaurant but now definitely the worst.
Funny thing fried rice is served in icy chilled plate??? Signature sauce was watery and no flavor, my order was wrong .....

I recently dined at Captain’s Boil on Kingsway, and here’s my take:
Food: The seafood boils were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, and the flavors were spot on. I tried the lunch special sizzling plate and it did not disappoint. It’s definitely a go-to for seafood lovers!
Service: Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match up to the food. It took a while for our order to be taken, and it was hard to get the server’s attention during the meal. Improving attentiveness and friendliness would make a big difference in the dining experience.
Ambiance: The place was busy but had a lively vibe, which made for an enjoyable setting overall. Not the coziest spot, but it works if you’re there for the food and not a quiet meal.
Parking: Street parking along Kingsway is tough to find. Thankfully, Captain’s Boil does have additional parking in the back, which was really helpful.
Overall: Captain’s Boil on Kingsway is worth a visit for the food, but I’d recommend a bit of patience with the service. I’ll definitely be back for the seafood but hope to see improvements in customer experience.

My all time favorite and a go-to seafood restaurant. When I was pregnant with my first born, I can eat here 3-4 tines a week! Love their cajun sauce in mild. It's a comfort food for me.

Eating freshly cooked seafood from plastic bags with my hands, wearing disposable gloves, was so great.....we tried the lobster. Snow crab, prawns, crawfish, clams, and muscles...plus all the sides....so tasty. But if you need to eat with cutlery, probably not the spot for you ?
Parking: Had to wait for a spot on the street but was fortunate to have someone leave fairly quickly....
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance to the restaurant so no problem for wheelchair

It's definitely not my favorite location. One of the servers was very rude. Just for one simple request for my order, next time, I rather go to the Richmond location.
