Overall food was not good, shrimp were not cleaned and not edible. Lobster rolls were not on the correct bun and they used hot dog buns, not very good flavour wise. Eggs and corn were severely overcooked.

I’ll stick to the shrimp/crab by the pound and rice. We tried something else from the menu multiple times, but we were disappointed, and there are probably others like that. Bring your “plastic bib” or equivalent because you won't get it anymore; that was a classic, so you don't get your clothes dirty.

This was our first time here. Most of the food was what i would classify as okay. Hence the 3 Stars. The service though was not good, felt rushed, and if we had not mentioned anything, we would not have gotten all of the food we ordered.
Pro's: Crab was nicely cooked, although including all of then parts that wont or cant be eaten (organs, body shell) if anything it detracted from the overall 'fun' pre-tense of eating with your hands off of a table. The sausage, potatoes, fried rice, onion rings and garlic bread were all okay; nothing special.
Con's: The shrimp and mussels were heavily overcooked, rubbery, and not nice to eat. We ended up sending back the 2 lbs. of mussels, and getting it taken off our bill. Had the rest of the service not been so sparse and hard to get the attention of the servers, this would have been a great customer service experience.
Biggest no go for us was the absolute massive amount of plastic waste. The food comes in plastic bags, the gloves provided and the bibs are all plastic. They even gave us plastic straws for our drinks, wrapped in plastic. Any environmentally conscious person would agree, and you don't have to be a tree hugger to be put off by the amount of garbage produced.
Overall, the experience left a bad taste because of the glaring cons.

The fried fish for lunch was so overcooked that’s inedible. It’s like chewing sandpaper mix with rock. They don’t offer any compensation but taking two coke off the bill (they say it’s because the manager wasn’t there, I call bullshit) . It’s probably the worst experience I had with this restaurant.
Don’t pretend you care about customers by sending the message below, when you don’t even respond with the email you provided lol.

Edit-
5 years ago, I gave this location 5 stars. THAT HAS CHANGED.
We will no longer be frequenting this location.
We arrived and ordered the Mateys Package with an appetizer and two drinks, costing around $130–$150. We specifically requested mild spice as we had our child with us.
When the food arrived, we asked for a spicier sauce on the side for the adults — and WE OFFERED TO PAY EXTRA. They refused. The staff and manager claimed “head office” doesn’t allow extra sauce on the side. (Because clearly head office has something against MAKING MONEY and KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY.)
Since when did customer satisfaction stop mattering in the restaurant industry? When we explained that we wouldn’t enjoy the meal without it and therefore wouldn’t be eating, the staff seemed perfectly fine with that outcome.
We left our $150 meal untouched — over refusing to provide a $5 sauce. Make it make sense.
We drove down the street to a lovely place called JAMBO GRILL. The staff there was helpful, accommodating, and the food was excellent. We had unlimited spicy sauce and staff who genuinely cared about our experience.
I strongly suggest your business learns a few things — especially in this economy.

I was greeted by miserable people. No smile or anything. Service was horrible. The food was so dry and hardly had any captain boil sauce. I did not enjoy my meal at all. I left feeling so hungry. The Richmond location is much more friendlier and I feel welcomed there.

If you're looking to indulge in exquisite seafood, The Captain Boil is the perfect destination for you. While it may be on the pricier side, the experience you gain is truly worthwhile. The flavors and ambiance all come together to create a memorable dining adventure that seafood lovers won't want to miss.

I visited to buy 2boils event, but it was only used for store meals, so I bought the basic menu and picked it up. It was good and I think I'll use it again next time

Interesting place to dine. Can be a little on the pricey side depending on what you order, but if you want to experience eating seafood with your hands out of a bag, it's a hoot. Will be back again!
They got our prefer wrong, wrong sauces were used for wrong shrimps . We ended up eating whatever they gave us as we had no more time to waste waiting again!
We ordered through Uber eats and we ordered the pirates feast. Everything is a good portion except for paying $20 for king crab legs, extra than what you already charged for the whole boil… I would expect more than one leg and one claw. Definitely not worth charging an extra $20 to only end up with that. That is my opinion, maybe I’m out of touch.
Great experience for families that love seafood!
I ordered NON SPICY item, they gave me mild so it was too spicy, they didn't wanna do anything about it, they said it was uber eats issue, the worst experience
