This place was okay. The seafood wasn’t the best quality, and the flavours were alright. Parking is a pain. But staff was nice
Very expensive!!!

This is the kind of place you don’t come alone to. You need a friend or two (or more!) to justify buying a giant feast of seafood to share - and it’s oh so worth it. Do not, I repeat, do not lie to yourself and just get an appetizer and a small main, go all out and share a full on boil with your friends. Also, small note that the Cajun fries are top notch. Hot and crisp, with that perfect level of spice that sneaks up on you after a few mouthfuls.

Very hostile. Disappointed in the service horrible staff, discrimination against food allergies, disrespectful behaviour from our waiter. Do not come here if you are white

We visited on a Sunday at 5pm, the (korean?)hostess gave us the table in front of washroom all the way at the back when the place is essentially EMPTY. I can smell whenever ppl exit the washroom. 150$ for 2 ppl, lobster is below standard and only dungeness was ok.

I ordered food and received another one from another restaurant , but it was not refunde
I used to religiously buy a bag of snow crab legs every month, sometimes even two or three times a month. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The crab doesn’t taste fresh anymore — it’s as if it’s been frozen for years and is now at the end of its shelf life. Some legs are completely empty with no meat inside, which is such a waste of money.
It’s really disappointing, especially since Vancouver already lacks good seafood boil restaurants. I’ve reached out by phone and email to share my feedback (without even asking for a refund) in hopes they’d improve, but I’m definitely done spending my money here.

Jen the manager (I believe she is) and I think this is her name as I asked her but she paused as she didn’t want to give me her name
She denied me taking back and refunding me my money from bad tasting oysters. They were the worst I’ve had; well I only ate one as I refused to risk my life
Tasted tacky and old
She kept rolling her eyes at me and being extremely rude
Kept insisting that they were fresh and she wouldn’t do anything for me
I said sure that’s fine
I regardless wasn’t going to risk my health over some bad tasting oysters
On top of everything we seen a mouse run across the floor
Do better xo

I used to like captain's boil a lot more. It was just okay last time I went (first time at this location). Frozen crab legs are just not edible here.
I like that they posted the price on the wall though, some locations don't and you have to keep asking them for price of each menu.
I would still go for their fried rice but that's just about it. I feel like that's the only dish that you can count on across locations. Fried rice and sauce :)
Service was attentive, water was constantly refilled. Friendly and welcoming.

I made an order with uber eats and got completely scammed and over paid for my food. They had a deal $60 or more spent on your uber eats order with this captains boil and you get a free seafood fried rice with your order, I ordered snow crab legs and sides and I spent over $60 and the seafood fried rice was not added to my delivery. I contacted uber eats and they said to contact the restaurant to see if they had time to change the order, the restaurant told me it was Ubers fault for not adding the rice to the order, but the restaurant could have when I called since they confirmed the deal was active and it was weird I didn’t get it on my app or their info. Then I asked them to cancel on their end so I could reorder and make sure the deal showed up and they refused, so I spent over $60 for their falsely advertised uber eats deal that doesn’t work in the app. Terrible, inconsiderate, scam. Improve your system and promotion’s reliability.

Food is delicious and service is great, but ordering delivery is abhorrent. UberEats is already a gigantic scam with how they won’t refund you if they’ve messed up enough times, but I’ve lost money both times I’ve ordered from here. Last night it was the missing Seafood Fried Rice that was offered on promotion with my $225 order and last time it was sending fish sandwiches instead of lobster.
Eat in for a great albeit a little pricey meal, but absolutely don’t order delivery. They clearly don’t do a good job of checking orders and it’s just way too much money to be messing up
