We ordered charlatan fries, crispy tofu bites, harvest bowl, tuna bites and drinks.
Can share for 2 (depends on your appetite). The tuna bites are way too spicy for me but I still ate it. 🤣 its fresh tho.

My favorite pub in the neighborhood! I love The Charlatan’s cozy, dimly lit atmosphere — it has such a great vibe. The playlists are always on point, and I often discover new music there.
I’ve visited many times and tried a lot of dishes, from the Eastender to the Beef Dip — both are excellent. Today we went back after a long time since most places were closed for Thanksgiving, and once again, it didn’t disappoint.
We started with the Chicken Karaage — not exactly traditional, but delicious, and the sauce was incredible. My boyfriend had the Bison Burger and I had the Beef Dip; portions were generous as always. The coleslaw was a pleasant surprise. The orange flavor really stood out, maybe instead of lemon, and it worked perfectly!
Only small note: I wish the fries weren’t the thin matchstick type, everything else was perfect. Always love this place, especially its style and atmosphere 🍻

Good chill spot for drinks and food. Fair priced for food and drinks. Daily specials and happy hour with good choices. There is a heated patio but wear warm pants as heaters are overhead style.

I'm not exactly sure what about us ticked off the waitress so much. She was utterly rude and disrespectful towards me. I was quite cheerful when we came in and trying to be friendly towards our waitress, but for some reason, she absolutely hated it and made me look like a fool for ever trying to be nice towards. She took our drink orders, but the drinks never arrived. She completely ignored us as we trying to get her attention and at one point went into one of the empty booths and laid her head down. It looked like she'd decided to take a nap. When one of my friends approached her to finally ask where or drinks were, she snap at him, saying they'll get there when they get there and she laid down her head and it appeared she went back to sleep! We had been there 30 minutes when we decided to leave after the waitresses out burst. We never even got to order food. I thought she must be new, but upon looking thru the reviews, she seems to be a regular problem. We were long term patrons at The Charleton, but we won't be coming back. Good luck to you Charlton.

Lively place! I was disappointed with my Mac and cheese.. for the price that it was I excepted more flavor. I thought my sister's poutine was okay but my sister didn't enjoy it. Loved my husband's burger (so did he) I was happy with the waiter we had at first. He recommended a great drink I enjoyed. But then I think he left, and we were sitting waiting for someone to come ask if we were done. My husband asked who we thought was a waitress, but she gave my husband the cold shoulder and said I will tell YOUR waitress you want the bill and walked away. Then a lady we haven't seen before came and took the plates away while I was trying to finish up my sister's poutine she didn't finish. Was kinda shooked because I swear she saw me trying to gobble it all up 😅 she said she would bring us the bill, which she did right after she took the food away. Got a nice goodbye. Have a great night after she saw the tip my husband left. Wish we had that attitude before tho. This place was a hit or miss in some areas. Came because of the high ratings but a little disappointed.
We are usually love to hang out with friends at anytime of the day. Always,fun, cheerful, vivid, cool and trendy places to be.🤘

It's very tight, and Very loud, everyone screaming over eachother while they have music blasting that perpetuates the necessity to yell at your party. We also got there at 7 and it was already obnoxiously loud. (As much as they like to have a real good time and the music is vibing after 10🙄 Very stupid thing to comment) The tables are about big enough for 2 people, but they cram 4 people per table, and you're overlapping with other tables. The staff is friendly and we had a good server, food was good, but their house made ketchup is more like straight tomato paste. Overall, if it was toned way down, space was optimized for comfort over stuffing as many as possible in, it's a nice spot... But I most likely will never go back.

Good vibes. Feels like a place the 2020s never touched. Wish I could’ve take a photo of the fries but we inhaled them in 20 minutes . The crumbs were still crunchy after an hour. Highly recommend the charlatan fries.
