I heat the place for the first time on Saint Patrick’s Day. The balcony was fully loaded but we were lucky to get a spot there. Overall it was a bit pricey bar, they have special for each day but the special wasn’t that special. Their $18 fries and wings were over priced. Overall for 4 beer and two appetisers $73 was a-lot. The seat for the balcony uncomfy. It was a lively and nice café. Located on commercial Drive. We chose this café because it had the highest rating on Google maps. We were happy with our choice. We ordered the fries and lemon pepper, chicken wings. I enjoyed sitting on the wooden chairs, and looking at the street and people sitting there. The bathroom was also clean. The service could be faster but the waitress was friendly.
I keep trying to give this place another chance, but unfortunately it's all vibe, no substance. The food is so disappointing, every time. I'll come back for alcohol only, that's hard to mess up.

Attended with a group of 5 people last night. We were seated in a booth with a chair towards the outside of the booth. While pulling the chair forward my finger got caught between the seat, which was not secured, one end came right off, and the frame of the chair. I brought it to the waitress attention, who asked me if it was bleeding. I said no bleeding but its pinched really bad and is hurting. She said, ok I will bring this to my managers attention and left. After 5 minutes I went to her and asked for some ice, which she provided, I soaked my finger and waited for the manager. No manager came to talk to me. I went to the waitress after an hour and asked if I was going to be able to talk to the Manager. She than sated that the Manager is not working today. (: Kept saying I can take an item off the bill. Which seemed like a slap on the face, i got hurt at your establishment and now u r going to take 8$ off my bill. Or maybe the issue is bigger and you decided that since I'm a person of color, my injury doesn't warrant a compassionate and appropriate follow-up.Additionally, I don't expect service staff to smile or display levity, but the person serving us held a blank stare, even while taking our order, or us asking for information to order. It felt like we were unwelcome.
