2025- Iâve been coming here for AWHILE and the new staff are incredibly over dramatically rude. The server yelled at me when I attempted to sit down and than proceeded not to give much attention to the table. This behaviour has been reoccurring for few months now. Itâs unfortunate. Over the time Iâve been here itâs stayed steady, until this past little while.

It's a chill place owner is nice but make sure to check ur bill because there is a waitress who likes to add on her own tip I was charges a service fee of 24 dollars when the waitress was slow ignored my table when I did notice it I called the manager she was already gone home manager gave us two free drinks..the waitress wasn't even checking on us wasn't friendly was very slow was always sitting and talking to others..when I was waving at her a few times just was feeing ignored..if i was going to tip atleast pay attention.why i don't know she is stil working there....but just check the bill first before paying cause the waitress likes to give them selfs tips...of whatever she thinks....but it's a chill place thou....they don't allow debit cards but only credit card transaction ...and cash only place...they do have a atm with a ofcourse a charge for 3 dollars...

If you enjoy being ignored and treated like an afterthought, then this is the place for you! Our experience started with a 15-minute wait just for the server to acknowledge our presence, followed by another agonizing 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered shots for the table, only to be told we had to leave because they "forgot" to check our IDs at the front. Seriously? That's a failure on your part, not ours! You should have done your job before seating us, not after we ordered food To make matters worse, the waitress completely messed up our bills. How incompetent can you be? Itâs clear that this place has no clue about customer service or basic operational procedures. And letâs talk about hygieneâthe restrooms were absolutely disgusting. I wouldnât be surprised if they havenât been cleaned since the establishment opened This place is a complete joke, and I will never be returning. They need to get their act together and figure out how to run it properly. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually values its customers!

Had the worst experience at The Dime a few weeks ago. We went for dinner and after we got our drinks, the server never came back to ask if we wanted to order food. She came to the table beside us and would leave without making any the contact with us. We finally got her attention to ask for the bill and we took our business somewhere else.

Great spot for dive bar vibes, cheap food, cheap drinks, and loud music. Warehouse group does a good job at creating the local hole in the wall atmosphere while offering a consistent and very cheap menu.
If you want attentive and doting service, top quality food, and a cozy spot for intimate conversation, this is not your bar.
If you want to be treated respectfully but mostly left alone, a pint of lager, a filling pub meal for under $20 (and maybe to tag a bathroom wall) this is the vibe.
My overall experience was really bad just because of the service. The food and drinks were good but our host/server was the rudest person. She was unprofessional, was almost yelling at me and my friend, and really aggressive. I usually let these things go, because sometimes the person might just be having a really bad day and are tired. But then i saw her speaking with other customers and taking their orders; she was friendly with them. She took her own sweet time to take our orders, and bring them (even customers who came after us were served before). The only thing that I can think of, which might have caused this difference in treatment is RACISM. In my years of living in Vancouver, it has never happened to me before. Really upsetting to see people behaving like that in the 21st century! Would like the manager to take an action on this!

They donât provide bills and just hand you the machine when you are ready to pay. One of us was charged $90 after tip and taxes when it should have been around $70 after tip and taxes. I was charged $55 after tip and taxes when it should have been around $45. When we asked to see a detailed receipt, they told us they could not provide one. Instead gave us a $20 bill to compensate for being overcharged⊠make sure you keep track of what you order as they seem to overcharge.

The waitress here is absolutely terrible, rolled her eyes when I ordered. Forgot my drink for over 30 minutes and doesnât check up on her tables when itâs slow on a weeknight. Wonât be coming back if sheâs serving. Incredibly rude and bad at her job. Sheâs been my server twice now and both interactions have been terrible. Theres a male bartender here whoâs very sweet and attentive though, so shout outs to him for his kindness.

It's a great place as it let's you support the homeless in need through their happy hour menu.
The atmosphere is low because even though the majority of the service staff are awesome, they do have their friends over. They can be racist and rude towards customers.
I feel they should have stricter boundaries as an establishment regarding these issues.
