Go for it if your company is paying for it. Otherwise it's a rip off, read below before you pay for one.

For $200, you get ingredients for one person's meal. Not even a little more to take the trophy home.

Even after paying $200, the chef is constantly whining about how costly everything is.
-olive oil is costly
-cheese is costly
-basil is a rip off
-avocado is costly

Really? After charging $200, you're complaining about the cost of olive oil which is $40 for 3 litres at Costco? And about the price of basil leaves?

One important thing - they asked to check the temperature of the oil by putting the finger in it, to check if it's warm enough.

Also, did I mention the apron is $10? And you can't take home even the name tag, because they will reuse too. Basically for $200, you just make your own food and eat yourself. That's about it.

Looks like a hidden gem close to the train station Stadium-Chinatown! We saw the line up close by for the other restaurant for brunch and decided to skip it. The Dirty Apron was quiet, no cooking class going on, but the café side had a few customers. We ordered the BLT and the breakfast sandwich with smoked salmon, both were fantastic! Balanced, simple but freshly made with quality ingredients. I loved the little touch of lemon zest on the cheese cream, pairs perfectly with the smoked salmon, crunchy red onion, runny egg and creamy avocado. Prices are fair for the sandwiches. Grocery and frozen items seem to be fancy, on the more expensive side. I wish for a combo or bigger meal. We saw they have a delicatessen at the airport!

We had such a wonderful time at our brunch cooking class at The Dirty Apron. Instructions and staff are all friendly and attentive and happy to have you there. Went there with my dad in 2011 and again in 2024 with my husband and both times were so much fun. Makes an excellent birthday gift or date night.

Korean fried chicken sandwich was delicious and chocolate chunk cookie was good too! Nice decoration and good service. Highly recommend!

It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special occasion. The experience is both educational and delicious. I preferred it when it was more intimate during COVID, but the long table setup works well too. I've enjoyed most of the fish classes, as our family follows a pescatarian diet. I wish there were more classes focusing exclusively on fish, but I hope they add more in the future. Overall, it's a great experience, and I'm looking forward to more classes.

Probably the most tasty and hence one of the best food we had in our entire 4 weeks in Canada!
We had the Ancho Chili Roast Beef vegetarian (you have to try this!), the grilled Hummus & Avocado Sandwich, the Japanese Potato Salad (day offer. great taste!), a smoothie, cappuccino, tea and coffee.
The service and staff was so nice and were looking greatly after us.
This place has a cooking class too next door and also it offers self-made food (in the fridge) and some other food items you can purchase.
Prices were very fair and we will definitely recommend anyone coming to Vancouver to eat here and enjoy!

Omg this place is so much fun! High quality teaching, organized, and informative. I got a cooking class as a gift from some friends and I already want to go again! I did the European dishes and learned so many cool things. I also didn’t know this at the time but found out later that our instructor was one of the owners. He was super friendly and down to earth and gave great tips I took so many notes lol thank you for the great experience!
