Bee coming here a couple times a year for special occasions. Tonight had the French beef dip and it was so delicious! I want one everyday!

This is the restaurant & lounge in the Best Western Premier Chateau Granville Hotel. The food here is good but nothing to get too excited about. It's a limited menu but have specials as well. Prices are average. The service here was good and portion sizes were decent. The hotel here is right in the middle of downtown Vancouver and close to the Arena if you want to catch a hockey game or other entertainment option. Much to offer here if you explore your Google map app.

Other than the soggy fruit the food was great! 2 star review because service was not great. We waited at our table for 15+ minutes before the manager/lead told us ther server would be over soon. She had obviously noticed us waiting long. a server named harshi Came to our table 5mins later, didn’t greet us, with no emotion asked “you ready?”. Then when taking my order of eggs benny didn’t asked how I wanted my eggs, that’s fine, I thought maybe they only do it one way, so I asked “how do you poach your eggs?” She replied “boiled”. Food came out reasonably timed, and was good. Our server didn’t bring the food out and we didn’t see her come to our table until 20 mins after we finished. She asked if we were done and took our plates. We waited for the bill for 15 minutes, she came to the table and told us we need to let her know if we are done. I thought we had. She then brought one bill and placed infront of the older man at the table assuming he would pay. He did pay the bill to not make a scene and have to wait here longer. Server had a bad attitude. The manager/lead walking around looked like she was picking up for this server and was aware of the issue, this is an assumption. They have potential for being great if their service could be better. Subpar experience.

Unfortunately I had the most upsetting experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant here at Edge. We were chatting with our server about being Canadian when out of no where they began ranting about very charged politic topics that I found extremely hatful, dangerous and offensive. They were unprofessional and genuinely upsetting comments. I was able to speak with the management of the hotel and they were extremely compassionate and respectful towards the dining experience I had. However, I would not recommend this restaurant anyways, beyond the unprofessional restaurant staff, the food is practically flavourless.

I was walking around the city and wondering what to eat, breakfast or lunch when I happen to run into this place. I had the Canadian breakfast and it was truly amazing. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were golden crispy, and the toast was buttery and crunchy (normally it’s one or the other). Definitely coming back and definitely recommend this dish!

I had breakfast at The Edge since I was staying at the hotel. It was awesome that they had Steel Cut oatmeal and their Omletes and French Toast were pretty good too.

Wow ? this establishment is something else. The food is to-die-for, the service has been fantastic all 3 times I’ve been so far!! We had Marijke on two of those 3 occasions and she’s a star ⭐️!!! Can’t say enough about the burger, short ribs (dinner & beef dip), the poutine, the chocolate cake (gluten free) and cheesecake too. Outstanding!!! I’m hooked!! YOU MUST TRY IT!!!

Marijke has been an amazing server the 2x I've been at the restaurant. She know's the food and makes the best recommendations. Friendly and allows you to relax and now feel pressured to order or leave. Would recommend you go to the restaurant when she is working - you won't be disappointed!

We had excellent service from Melvin! He was efficient & courteous and friendly. His serving skills were top! The meal/wine was amazing and we (family of 3) enjoyed a night out.

We found the service was pretty good, but the food was a little gross. We had the eggs benny, and the hollandaise was sour, and one of the eggs was undercooked, however the presentation was good. For the price, I would probably not come back here.

We came at brunch hour and received the worst service ever. We stood at the door while the host looked at us and then continued to do his own thing. When he came he asked us breakfast or lunch. There was 5 of us so I asked if we could not decide after menus as everyone will want something different, he told us no, that he was not in the mood to confuse his cook. He then told us to 'sit over there'. He never came to get our drink order. We were so taken back by how rude he was and treated us like a burden that we got up and left.

Breakfast was delicious. Eggs Benny was spot on and the continental breakfast was amazing. Hot out of the oven croissant, fresh fruit, and Greek yogurt in my parfait. Melvin our server was great too!
