OMG... I have nothing but praise for this amazing restaurant...Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive, appetizers were excellent, interesting flavours, main courses were excellent, subtle and delicious, dessert was excellent, all ingredients were over the top fresh, plating exquisite, ambience was perfect... good music- but not too loud, so conversation is possible...an exceptional evening...Thank you, thank you...... I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Happened by this wonderful spot today and enjoyed a delicious brunch. We had the Marsala mushroom and kale benny on homemade focaccia with perfect crispy potatoes and the n’duja and fennel sausage hash. The service was excellent and personal and the atmosphere was cozy. Looking forward to checking them out for dinner and a happy hour on the cozy back patio that is set to open soon!

Disappointing for the price. The scallop risotto was far too salty. My fish was ok but the mush that came with it was underwhelming and was just tomato-y. Burrata starter was meh. When the oil and vinegar to dip your bread in are high point of your meal, you've got a problem. Sadly, not a repeater. Cannot recommend.

Wonderful rustic style Italian restaurant tucked away on 10th Ave in East Van behind Kingsgate mall. Made reservations for my birthday, it didn't disappoint. Great service, friendly and fun servers. Ordered two appies and one main, plus dessert. Everything was great. The atmosphere is rustic Italian/west coast, casual and cosy. Looks like they have a nice little happy hour menu too! Highly recommended.
Very lovely restaurant! The decor and atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, rustic and gorgeous and makes for a sweet little escape in the heart if Mount Pleasant. The waitress we had was super awkward… maybe she was just having an off day, I don’t know, however the food was very fresh and tasty and worth the price and our overall experience was great. I loved the open concept of the space as well. I’d definitely come back!

I pass this place all the time (shopping at Kingsgate) and finally went for dinner last night. I love the décor (unsurprisingly, it's a farmhouse vibe) and the ambiance, and the service was pleasant and efficient. The food however, was pretty average. When doing something as simple as pasta, it really should be cooked correctly! Both mine and my friend's were rather underdone - not really al dente status. And having been specifically advised that the Calamarata pasta from the Mangia Wednesday menu would be different from the regular menu (ie as shown on the menu - with arugula, not swiss chard and broccolini) I was surprised and disappointed to end up with the swiss chard and broccolini version after all. The wine served as part of the Mangia special was delicious! And the burrata cheese and the house bread were wonderful. But they need to up their game on simple pasta dishes and menu accuracy.

I was looking forward to trying this place. Meh, the food was basic. I ordered the eggs bene and the bread was thick and soft not crispy, the eggs were cooked alright but not quite enough hollandaise. It’s was fine but not enough to go back for. I think what started off wrong was the weird reaction to requesting a Caesar, which in Van should be expected. Overall, decent but not a draw for the location. Too bad.

The most wonderful spot for brunch with an Italian twist! Friendly, polite and professional service. We made a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived The porchetta benny was *chefs kiss* and the breakfast potatoes were divine! Our group enjoyed a few different things on the menu and all of it looked great! The dining room is so welcoming and cozy. Can’t wait to come back for brunch and would love to return for dinner sometime!
This is a charming little place that we were happy to stumble upon. Highlight dishes were the scallop risotto and the pannna cotta (I'd come back just for that dessert!).

A wonderful homely feeling place, serving exquisite food! The home made pasta is phenomenal, every ingredient feels of great quality and cooked to perfection to elevate the dish. The sommelier's recommendation was great, and the lemon spruce panna cotta still hunts me, so delicious it was!Vegetarian options: It has very good vegetarian options! They are not made obvious on the menu but the staff is happy to help.

I think they were slammed with Dine-out, service was a little bit slow. Nice little restaurant, probably that's what made it pretty noisy with the close quarters. Wasn't too excited about being seated in the hallway to the bathroom ! On the bright side the food was excellent. !
