The food here is absolutely delicious and tastes authentically Greek in my experience. The tirosalata is tangy and delicious with the accompanying soft pita wedges. The avgolemono is nicely balanced and a generous portion. The keftedes are literally to die for; the meatballs are tender and tasty, and the sauce needs to be completely devoured with some extra pita. Five stars! Just go. You won't regret it if you like Greek food, attentive service and a chill ambiance.

Food was delicious - everything was crispy and well-seasoned. There was one point where I had to get up and track down a server to make it for the happy hour timeframe as no one was coming to assist and then once more I had to get up to ask for the bill, but besides that, overall it was a great time and I will be back!

We had a reservation for 5:45pm and arrived a little early at 5:30pm. We let the hostess, Maria, know we were early, but instead of a friendly welcome, she came off cold and visibly annoyed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only two other groups seated near the front, yet she led us to a table all the way in the back with no view and no atmosphere. We politely asked if we could move to a more comfortable table in the middle of the restaurant. She said a larger party had a reservation for that section and only offered to move us one table over, which made no real difference. The way she handled the request felt dismissive, and her overall attitude was unwelcoming and unnecessarily rude. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. The experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. As two Asian women, we couldn't help but feel there may have been an underlying bias. It was subtle, but hard to ignore. Would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic courtesy or a welcoming atmosphere.

Been looking for good Greek food and this place did not disappoint. Best hummus we have ever had, dressing on Greek salad was perfect. We will definitely be returning and have recommended to others already.
Decent food - but not very authentic. No flaming saganaki. VERY loud - impossible to have a conversation without yelling.

We had an excellent dining experience at the Greek in Yaletown last night. Service was excellent, timely and friendly. Our server handled all of our questions about menu options with confidence and kindness. The food was excellent. Best moussaka I've ever had. We enjoyed our time and our food. Although we may have moderately overstayed the two hour recommended time, it was a Tuesday and grateful no one was rushing us out the door. Will visit again and highly recommend!

We went to The Greek for dinner, and it was amazing! Our server, Kayla, went above and beyond! The food was delicious with yummy saganaki, red pepper, feta dip, and warm pita bread. The pork shoulder was tender and flavourful! I can't wait to come back!

Delicious and authentic. We enjoyed warm pita and trio of dips followed by chicken and prawn skewers served with rice and greek salad. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. We loved eating on the patio overlooking Mainland st. Lively but not noisy. Attentive service and a great range of summer drinks made it a perfect evening.

I was really happy to see vegan options. But the batter on the vegan calamari was quite dark indicating old oil. The vegan calamari batter was VERY dark compared to the regular calamari the table beside us had. I ended up with a stomach ache all night during our comedy show. Too bad :(
