Pleasantly surprised by The Greek's happy hour! Stopped by on a sunny Friday with a friend. We sat on the patio and appreciated the heaters for extra warmth. Happy hour drinks were delicious - I tried the aperol spritz and sangria and they were both great. I also got a spicy margarita and I really liked the salt rim. Food - we shared the dip trio, chicken souvlaki and calamari. They all came out nice and hot. Loved the three dips and it was a good amount of naan bread. Calamari was nice and crispy. Service was nice and attentive. Great spot in Yaletown!

Great location and the Greek food is authentic Greek with a big slab of feta on their Greek salads and the platters for 2-4 people have lemony potatoes and great seasoning! Meat is cooked perfectly on the platters.Parking: Due to the busy Yaletown location, parking is hard to find unless willing to walk a block or two. This is no fault of the restaurant, it is close to transit!
I absolutely adore this place! I came here for my first time with my best friend and her Mom on a Tuesday evening and it was busy; luckily we had reservations for that evening.The ambiance at this place was absolutely amazing and our server was top notch, very sweet and attentive - definitely one of the better service I have had in a while.The food was amazing, flavors were good and the mocktails were delicious.We had a great time dining here and I will definitely dine here again if I find myself in the Yaletown area!

Great food and service, however we felt like we were eating dinner at a club. The music was horrible and so loud, we couldn’t even talk to each other easily. This is at 8pm on a Friday night. So I guess if you’re wanting club atmosphere this is a good spot, but it was not enjoyable for us.

I eat alot of Greek food. I always love the lamb for the special flavor and moistness. I had the Saganaki..it was good..I had the lamb..shank. it wasn't so favorable...just tasted like meat..rice was greasy and veggies were mushy...sorry.Maybe better quality control on meals..Music was too loud and like a bar or disco...not trendy or suited for dinningPotential to be super great is here..but needs some love in the Greek food flavors.
The absolute best spot in Vancouver for everything you’re looking for: great food, great drinks, the best service and such a fun ambience! They have a fantastic Happy hour menu even on Sundays. Amazing value in terms of price and quite honestly - it is the best Greek food in the city (the lamb is unreal!).They are also super accommodating for large parties/bigger reservations and are so quick with responding via email. Highly highly recommend The Greek for any and every occasion.

What a FANTASTIC dinner we had!! Made it with 15 min left in happy hour and prices were great!! Best Greek food outside of Greece we've had so far. Saganaki was to die for, spanakopita light and fluffy, everything was bursting with flavor. Fabulous service, friendly staff, such a nice change from what you can sometimes find when dining in Yaletown. We will be back!!
Service was amazing as usual, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious as always. Got the saganaki (came out sizzling and was amazing), calamari (big and crispy, some of the best in the city) and chicken souvlaki and shrimp platter (the veggie mix is the best, all of it was delicious), highly recommend going.

I would actually give it a 4.5. I discovered this place 2-3 summers ago and I fell in love with it. Amazing food and atmosphere. Most of the staff are awesome! Really reminded me of being back in Greece ❤️The reason why I gave it 4.5 instead of 5 is because I had gone to the one in North Van, and our Waiter at the time ( I forgot his name) was very short with us, hardly checked up on us to even to get a refill on water took forever. Then the other reason with the .5, is because my mom and I are staying in a hotel, and when we ordered it on door dash there wasn't any options to add utensils. Over all I would recommend this place, many locations and the dip tester is to die for ?ADD ON! March 4,2024I wanted to say thank you to James and his staff in Yaletown. You guys went above and beyond mine and my mom's Expectations, we were blown away with your response. 100% see you again. ?
This was our second time having dinner at The Greek in Yaletown. We have also visited the Gastown location. We really enjoyed our dinner! The service was excellent and the food was great! We had the Humous dip and pita for an appetizer and then shared a souvlaki platter for two. This was more than enough food for two of us. We found it to be quite affordable. We will come back for sure!
