I was here during Vancouver Dine Out last year 2024, and last night I was here again. While the atmosphere and service were still great, I found the experience a little disappointing. We had the DineOut omakase menu and it was terrific. There weren't any dishes that we would rate as anything but great, and several were outstanding (the sashimi beet salad and duck breast salad in particular). $55 for a six-course omakase (and $8 for ~ 10 oz of decent French house red wine!) was a bargain. The restaurant was packed and we were impressed with the efficiency of the kitchen and staff (who were very nice)- we were in and out in about 2 hours.
