We came for Bingo night and had a great time! The food was okay. We just ordered some wings and they were fine. We won one of the bingo games and had a choice of a shot of tequila or a shot of whiskey, neither of which we drink but they wouldn’t substitute it so I gave it to the table next to me.

Cool spot for a drink with an assortment of games.

They let me in to use the bathroom without charging me or making me buy anything when I was quite drunk on a Saturday night. Ended up going back to the front after to pay the cover and hang out anyways. Had a blast! Thank you Lamplighter for your wonderful staff

The food and drinks here were great and the atmosphere was really chill. Service was good as well! I recommend coming here to grab a few drinks and hangout with friends :) their poutine is also really good and not too salty!

Food was nice we both had the classic burger and shared the dumplings. The service was nice - it was pub service as expected. Not excessive just what was needed. It's a pub and has that smell of a pub that's had booze lost on the floor. Was a Sunday night and was slow so quiet. NB the pub is owned by the same people who own Brass Fish Tavern. If you go to their sites the menu is pretty much the same so if you want the same food in a more laid back environment with (I thought) better service then go here.
The DJ on Saturday was awful and the music was absolute garbage. I requested a song and he said it was too slow but he also played Katy Perry fireworks so please take the place as is. Overall the club was a waste of time and I would rather spend time at a local McDonalds. The entire time they also played movies which was fairly odd for a lively “club”. Sleep on the club. Stay home. Or listen to the radio cuz it’s better than the Saturday night DJ for sure.

The first establishment to serve alcohol to women in Vancouver, also one of the oldest bars here, so there’s lots of rich history associated with the Lamplighter. Fast forward to today, the bar is filled with amazing staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Great music on the weekends, fun and engaging activities on weekdays (eg. Trivia and Bingo). I’ve been coming here for a long time and I’ve never had a bad time. The Lamplighter is truly a Vancouver gem.
Got put in a corner that was shoe horned into the end of the upper level... no character that was apparent in the rest of the restaurant... had reservations and wasn't busy when we arrived. Quite disappointing... food was ok. Wouldn't go again unless patio was open.
Stop by on a suday for a beer while on a bike ride. Cute patio. Looks like.
The kind of place people get drunk on Friday.

Went to this bar in Gastown, ordered their beer and rosemary fries - perfectly fried with cheese and herbs, complimented the dips. Beer was good too. Just didn't enjoy the music and the atmosphere.
Large bar with plenty of seating. Lots of TV screens for easy viewing of sports, plenty of different beers in bottles and on draft. A surprisingly sophisticated food menu for a "pub". Great unique cocktails and lovely, attentive staff.
