I had my very first Espresso Martini here?Loved the ambiance, and the 2 gentlemen working were great! We came after dinner for a night cap, and it was very way to top off the evening ? ??

My brothers and sisters of the drinkhood, tasters of the spirits, keepers of the libations.. You must stop here and have a drink if you can do so without getting beaten by your spouse/guardian.It's just a small place, but the Old Fashioned we had is at the top of my list in terms of taste and uniqueness. It had notes of chocolate and citrus and was topped with a maraschino cherry that was sooo rich and tasty. The price was reasonable as well, and the staff was friendly. We are so delighted we decided to stop by here on our way to the market. I think everyone should.

Good variety of classic and original cocktails using their house liquors. Tends to be busy and when it is, service suffers

?Sip by Sip: Falling for The Liberty Distillery's Craft Cocktails ???‍♂️ Walking past The Liberty Distillery on Granville Island countless times, I finally seized the moment to step inside. What awaited was an unforgettable journey into the world of craft spirits. ?️?? The Old Tom Negroni and Espresso Martini were my choices, and they skyrocketed to the top of my all-time favorites list. It's rare to find drinks crafted with such perfection that they leave a lasting impression. ??? From the first sip, it was clear: this place was special. The distillery has now become my go-to spot on the island, a place where quality and passion for spirits intersect in every glass. ?❤️? I'm already looking forward to my next visit, eager to dive deeper into their menu of classic concoctions. The Liberty Distillery isn't just a stop on the island; it's a destination for those who cherish the art of distillation. ??? With every visit, I'm reminded of the beauty of discovering new favorites. The Liberty Distillery, with its exceptional offerings and inviting atmosphere, is a must-visit for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. See you there soon! ??

Very cool, chill, classy bar you should visit when you are exploring Granville Island. When I saw there was a distillery on Granville Island before I made my trip here I made the plan to be sure to stop by. As opposed to breweries I have not seen many and thus have not been to many distilleries so I was excited to come here especially since I do drink gin. When you walk in you will right away notice a warm, classy & very chill vibe inside. It's not that big and there are just a few tables (communal) and countertop seats. This is not your raging busy bar and I like that about this place. I found myself a seat and then made my way to the bar where I placed an order for the Gin Flight as well as the New York Sour (no longer on the menu but I previously saw Yelp photos of it). The bartender was accommodating and said he'd bring the drinks to the table. Unless I'm mistaken, there were no seats at the actual bar which is interesting especially since I probably would have just sat at the bar.It was fun tasting my way through the gin flight trying to discern the differences. In the end, I made a gin & tonic. The New York Sour is a very nice-looking drink and made well all the same. I'm not a whisky drinker but it had a good balance with the alcohol, sweet and sour flavor. I can see people getting this drink just because of its visual appeal. The place offers their spirits as well as merch for sale and from I can see it's not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive I've seen. Gotta pay for quality, right!? It's right near the Granville Public Market, and you should be able to find parking in one of the nearby lots, there is one right across the street from here. Also, I believe that after 6pm, parking is free, so that's good.I can definitely see myself coming back to try out some more of their spirits and cocktails since they are putting thought and effort into them all.Cheers!

Booked a private event here for a friend's engagement party and it was the absolute perfect location! The staff, the ambience, the cocktails, everything was 10/10! And the care and detail that they put into making our event feel special (personalized menus and cocktails) was next level. I would definitely recommend this spot for a cozy drink or for you next event! Thank you again to Lisa and your staff for making our party vision come to life!

Very cool little distillery with a cocktail lounge. Nestled in the heart of Granville Island. The cozy lounge has a number of large share tables and some bar seating along the windows. Their list of craft cocktails makes choosing just one a bit of a dilemma. If you are spending some time wandering around downtown, check out Granville Island and stop in for an afternoon cocktail!

Lovely cocktail bar with warm ambience. The bar itself is from the 1890s and seating made from reclaimed wood. The bartenders really know their drinks and there is something unique for everyone (except children?). The craft spirits are distilled onsite in a beautiful copper still. Try a sampler flight of gin and/or whiskey. It highlights the wide range of flavors - all delicious!

Amazing venue for your small private functions! I have attended one event and organized another event with Liberty Distillery and they are amazing every time! Communicative, friendly, helpful!I also love going to their location on the weekends for the occasional craft cocktail or whiskey flight. Highly recommend!

Our first time here in September, we loved it all. Great drinks, great gin, and great service. So when we visited Vancouver recently, this place was on our must go-to list. We even arranged to meet friends here. But when we arrived we were told by staff they were just closing for a private party. The caterers had just pulled up, and the guests hadn't arrived yet. We were in a bit of shock, having made the trip across town just for this. We asked if we could at least just purchase a bottle. We were told no, they were closed. We mentioned that we don't live in Vancouver, and Liberty Distilllery was a destination on our trip. We were sorry it didn't work out.Edit: The Liberty Distillery owner followed up with me. She was very understanding and professional and informed me that the staff also took this seriously. It means a great deal to be acknowledged. We will be back!
