A funky little place carved out from a teto store front that once was a 2nd hand cheese shop! Staff seems laid back, friendly... best to check their web site for various events they have on a regular or semi regular basis. Web site says they take only cash... not true. I get the impression there's no food served there but they don't mind if you bring some of your own as long as you're not ostentatious about it.

Love the vibes at the Lido! Very chill spot with great music, drinks, and people. It’s the sort of place where everyone has a story to tell if you give them the time to tell it. Extra points for allowing outside food — they don’t have their own kitchen, but there are plenty of places nearby to grab take-out and bring with you. The patio is also a hidden gem if you haven’t been. I’m so glad that Covid didn’t kill this place. Long live the Lido!

Spaghet is amazing (high life - aperol - lime) and best photobooth around.

We love our neighbourhood Lido. Such a cute place and has all the good vibes. They recently installed a photo booth and it is amazing! definitely our go-to spot.

I am sure it’s a goods place overall but I have to mention that disgusting service from the bartender lady being super rude

Decent place to grab a drink and listen to some music. The live dj was spinning some great tunes.

The Lido quickly became an East Van staple when it opened approx. 10-ish hears ago. It’s authentic & unpretentious, and frequented by folks that are non-mainstream / unconventional / alternative (to use the limited descriptors we humans use 🤣). The bar staff have always been friendly & real. The interior is stylish & creative without trying too hard. The indoor space has lots of places to sit as well as a small dance floor / audience area with a stage - and fun ceiling decor! Live music shows & DJ nights of various genres happen regularly, from jazz to metal. The outdoor space is a hidden gem of the city, as it is fully covered & fenced, making it cozy, private & sheltered from the elements. Highly recommended

What can i say! The lido makes me feel right at home - and so many people that i talk to feel the same way. I feel so lucky to have a bar like this in vancouver - where other bars can feel hostile or sterile or simply mid, the lido is friendly and human and fun! The staff are awesome, the drinks tasty (within the last year they really kicked up their cocktail menu - shout out to the beer cocktails, especially the beer-garita 🍹 - and their selection of drinks on tap is lovely. This bar has guinness!), and the atmosphere - sky high! Lots of different dj nights, live music - check out their insta for the events hehe. Anyway, shout out to the lido for rocking hard and being a real oasis for me in this city. 🙏🏻
