Always a fabulous environment for my business meetings and connections. Always feel like a VIP!
My favourite spot for casual business meetings. Fabulous service, food and cocktails. Great energy and atmosphere.
Fantastic cocktails, atmosphere and service. Everyone feels like a VIP at Pac Rim Lobby Lounge!
We came here Thursday night for a few cocktails and while the cocktail menu and vibe was great, our waitress was absolutely horrible. It was very clear that because of the way we were dressed and our age, she didn’t think we were worth the time of day. She was interacting and visiting with other tables, but didn’t check on us for over 40 minutes after we received our drinks. When we asked for water because she forgot, I asked her again and she looked like we being an inconvenience. We wanted to order more drinks, but after 40 minutes of not seeing her since getting our cocktails, and sitting with an empty drink for 20 minutes we had to flag her down for a bill (even though she walked past our table 4 times). When it came down to the bill and to tip her, she finally decided to be friendly. Her behaviour was absolute unacceptable and was clear she was too good to serve us.

I've wanted to go here for a looooong time and finally got the chance...just to get ignored by staff. We were waiting for like 20 minutes and no one even came by to take our order, offer water, or acknowledge us at all. Very disappointed in what I was expecting to be a 5-star experience.

We always enjoy top quality drinks and food here. Delicious bento boxes. Top quality ingredients. Always really enjoyable!
We had a great early evening light dinner. It was a very busy scene and quite noisy but nevertheless the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We ordered a couple of cocktails including the sushi caesar, Poinsettia and Shibuya but I'd say my favourites were the Shibuya and Poinsettia. The caesar is more on the spicy side. Out of all the food we ordered which included the crispy rice with salmon, scallop miso soup and uni sashimi, etc., the favourites were the seared red tuna, rosemary salted fries and most favourite of all was the Superfood salad with chicken (healthy and delicious). The prices are on the expensive side but to be expected since it is a high-end hotel. The service was excellent, waiter/waitress were attentive and the maître d was first class. Definitely a great place to hang out of for snacks and drinks.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim is a wonderful place that combines luxury, atmosphere, and excellent service to create a memorable experience. My recent visit to The Lobby Lounge & Raw Bar was fantastic, and I want to thank the new General Manager, Taka Akiyama, for making it so special.
Taka brings a refreshing level of care and understanding to guests, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. From the warm greeting to the thoughtful service, everything reflected the hard work of Taka and the team.
Thank you, Taka, and the Fairmont Pacific Rim team, for creating such a great atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Really appreciate the patience and vibe of the establishment… it’s one of the only places in Vancouver where we’ve enjoyed good food drinks and the kids could coexist!

We were so thirsty and needed water. Asked 5 times for it never got it. Friend waited an hour for desert. No cutlery came with the food, had to wait. Gomae was terrible. Don’t order it. So I wanted a tuna sushi taco and I got a salmon on instead. Idk if it was wild, I hope so bc I’m very against farmed lol. Beautiful place. California roll was good, something it it made it seem like I was crunching on crab shells tho

Hands down the best service I've had in Vancouver. The bar team made excellent cocktail suggestions and the sushi selection and quality was really good. If you're visiting Vancouver would highly recommend, very welcoming atmosphere and staff are friendly and helpful when asking about the city. Thanks Fairmont crew for the restaurant tips !!

I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at The Lobby Lounge in the Fairmont Pacific Rim. I was seated at the bar when, after about 15 minutes, another guest began invading my personal space, making inappropriate comments about "searching for hot girls" and asking about my boyfriend. The situation felt uneasy, and despite making eye contact with the bartender who served me, Navin, I received no help or support. When the patron became even more intrusive and got in my face, another bartender finally offered to move me to a high-top table. I couldn’t help but feel unwelcome, as the onus was placed on me to move, while the the other guest was allowed to stay, making me feel as if his comfort was prioritized over mine, but I gathered my belongings. Concerned about leaving my drink unattended with this man still at the bar, I asked Navin to assist me in moving it. Instead of offering help, he became agitated and questioned me aggressively, which only added to the stress of the situation.
Once I moved to the new table, I was left unattended and ignored by the staff. The general manager spoke with me briefly and assured me the guest would be removed, but I noticed that he was still sitting at the bar enjoying his drink. I was shocked that this guest’s behaviour was overlooked, especially after I was the one asked to move. To make matters worse, I dropped the business card the manager had given me and asked a passing hostess for help in picking it up. Her response was rude and dismissive, as she refused, citing the length of her nails, and gave me a derogatory glare. This was by far one of the most degrading and humiliating experiences I’ve had while dining in Vancouver. The staff seemed more concerned with accommodating a regular patron than ensuring my safety and comfort. I would not recommend this establishment, especially to women who value respect and a safe dining environment.
