First time having a lobster roll and I loved it! I got the Connecticut lobster roll and it was delicious! I did think there was a lot of butter but honestly it meshed well with the lobster. Definitely recommend!
Very yummy sandwiches!
Giving an honest and constructive review hoping the business can improve on.
I’ve had the lobster roll many times over the past couple of years, and today was the first time eating it again in about a year.
Right away when I opened the box, it smelled off, not rotten, but the smell of old frozen fish. I could tell the lobster was not freshly cooked. The bun was not warm nor stale, it tasted decent. Soft. The mix of lobster & mayo was watery. Nothing like what I had years ago. There is also more celery in it. The whole roll tasted decent, but compared to what I had years ago, the taste & quality has gone down a lot. The lemon they added to my box also looked like it had been used (as if someone had already squeezed it) That was the most disturbing part.
I’m suspecting it is because they are a lot busier now, so they try to get everything done faster and thus, skipping on quality.
I think with better training, quality control and faster logistics they can still turn things around.
I got the crab roll and would highly reccomend!
Mediocre lobster roll on a stale cold bun. The roll looks full but it’s actually filled with a romaine lettuce leaf with only a thin layer of lobster meat mixed with celery that doesn’t even fill the length of the bun for $26.
Lobster in a bun - it’s as delicious as it sounds.
The price is a bit high but the quality is very good, very delicious, you should try it once when you come here.
Buy the cooked shelled lobster, brioche buns , butter , lemon , make your own. 1/2 the cost and better.
