The food quality was good, but the service was really disappointing. We asked for blankets several times, but they never provided them. Every time we called the staff, they forgot about our request. Also, the food preparation time was extremely long.

Went to an event where there was a set drink menu at the bar, so nothing off that was available. Also they included 18% for every drink ordered at the bar which felt excessive for drinks ordered at the bar

Not great. Perfect day and great service but three times a glass had to be returned with food scum in it. Apologies but all those drinks should have been comped. The Aburi was dreadful, way too stodgy and slightly undercooked sushi rice. With Minami viewable across the street, it was a real disappointment for that price. Tuna Tataki unbalanced and tiny.

Great as always. Just feels expensive. I had a salad and it was $28. Otherwise would have rated higher.

Food was ok, a little overpriced - service was quite good however told we couldn't have a table outside due to reservations; for the hour we were there, at least 5 free outdoor tables

Overall disappoiting experience The lady showing us out table didn't ask we were just sat us there. Place is noisy and our server squire disappeared for 10 mins We had additional people and they never broughtany dishes for him took 10 Mins to serve him we had to ask another bar person The food was ok but when they come out and give you food they had you the plate? Put it on the table Overall much better places than this won't come again or recommend overall not what I expected Joey and cactus servers and staff are better and here they are not Overall 3 out of 10 I even said we had out of town guest before hand and they still didn't impress up

Ear splitting loud background music like a night club. I realize the Weeknd was playing that night but it was tough to converse. Tough on the servers too

Crazy evening arriving an hour pre-The Weeknd concert. Busier than you can imagine. Got seated fairly promptly even though we were a bit late for our reservation (which we called to let them know). Thank goodness for a table at one side of the restaurant as it was so noisy, almost impossible to have a conversation. No matter, after quite a wait having our order taken, things moved along quickly. Food was amazing. Understandable that service was less than 5 star with water not being topped up, even after requested.

Disappointing and limited new happy hour menu. No deals. Mediocre food. As a very long time and regular customer, this was not a good experience. Better happy hours and food elsewhere.

Being frequent Earls guests, yesterday was by far the worst service we have ever experienced in the chain. Server made us feel extremely unwelcome and it kept getting worse due to their mistakes. I would love to review the score later once we get a better experience, but currently it is upsetting how bad does it get.

We were a party of nine & wanted to sit in an area where there were no servers but were accommodated & moved there as it was quieter than the other side. The food & service never disappoints at Earls...always consistently good. Only complaint we have is noise level where the music is uncomfortably loud. Please try to remedy this 🙏

we went during happy hour time and ordered the new items, sushi rice is undercooked, steak quality as well as presentation was not as nice as during dinner service, which we were just there on Tues for dinner. over all for the same price , i find the standard dropped a lot during HH.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Yaletown Earls, and it was all thanks to the incredible team, especially Richard and our wonderful server Kelly. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Richard, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. His attention to detail, calm leadership, and genuine passion for hospitality were evident in every interaction. You can tell he truly cares about his team and every guest who walks through the door. Our server Kelly was equally phenomenal, friendly, attentive, and incredibly personable. She anticipated our needs without us even having to ask and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It felt like we were being hosted by friends who genuinely wanted us to have a great time. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and full of flavour. From drinks to dessert, everything was spot-on. But what made the night truly memorable was the people. Richard is a true gem in the hospitality industry, he brings out the best in his team, and it shows. This was easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Vancouver. If you're headed to Yaletown Earls, you'll be in excellent hands with Richard and Katie. Thank you both for making our evening so special. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great time at Earls Yaletown! My steak was perfectly cooked and my fries were hot and crispy. Carson, Mak and Patrick took excellent care of me at the bar top, making sure my drink was never empty and I always had what I needed. I was greeted by the lovely hostus Campbell who was very welcoming and sincere which started off my earls dining experience on such a lovely note. Will be back soon!
