I love this bar! Friendly atmosphere, cool dive bar vibes. The regulars around the bar were great to chat with and the bartender Taylor was awesome. I’m stoked to come back for another visit!

Cutest watering hole on my Canadian expeditions. Drinks are 10/10 quality wise, price is reasonable and food is fresh and yummy. You can come as a woman alone and not be bothered on a Friday night by any weird people. A dream!

Metropole is Vancouver's best Dive Bar.... My friend, Don Magnifico hosts karaoke there every Wednesday and there is other music events throughout the week...... If your looking for a place with cheap, No Frill drinks and is open until 3:00 am every night... this is the place for you.... Fair warning... it is a Dive Bar.. it is a bit seedy/Sketchy....they serve people from all over the city...and all walks of life....every night is different... they have arcade Games and Pool table... If your looking for high end, fancy Vegas style club with beutiful Cocktails...this is not your place.. i ordered a cocktail there but the bar tender gave me a strange look and said they don't make Cocktails... The wash room needs some TLC.... the stall has no door and everyone comes in there.. Male and Female... There is graffiti every where... sinks frequently broken...please be aware of your surroundings when leaving as the pub is located in a rougher part of town

Manager (older guy with big beard) confused me for someone who came in a while ago and walked out on a two beer tab, and so refused to serve me. When I told him that it wasn’t me, that I barely ever come to the met, I always pay upfront, AND I don’t even drink beer, he didn’t believe me and I was asked to leave. I have a pretty specific look (piercings, specific visible tattoos) so I’m baffled at his extreme confidence that I was this person. Won’t be going back I guess :/

The best prices for beer and Long Island in the city — only $4.5 a glass! 🍻 They also have a coin pool table for $2 per game (just bring two loonies). Great vibes, budget-friendly, and my top recommendation for students.

Great prices for alcohol specials but there is most definitely a smell in the bar that needs to be addressed.
