Pretty disappointing experience. This was my first time sitting in and getting food, which was just two pieces of sliced deli meat on store bought bread with butter and lettuce for $12. They must have switched owners in the last year since a bunch of the atmospheric decor is gone. The washroom was also hideously nasty. One of the dirtiest I've used in Vancouver. Dust and human waste on the seat. No soap in dispensers despite there being gallons of it in storage. I had to...
I had not been to this coffee shop in 3 years and went today looking forward to coffee and good atmosphere. I really hope they are planning to paint or something there was nothing on the walls or shelves. The counter area was clean and the service was nice. The rest of the cafe floor, walls, windowsill, tables were filthy with mold and dirt; I decided to leave as I was kinda grossed out. Leaving this review because they asked me to leave on at the counter.
Went here for the cheesecake reviews but they no longer make it. Our pastries and coffee were good. Friendly service. The seating area was busy, several people on laptops. I will say when looking around everything in the seating area was covered in dust and especially around the windows, light fixtures etc. The industrial atmosphere could deal with a refreshed paint and deep clean, it would be nice if they supported a local artist on the bare walls. The serving area was clean....
