The hamburger I had was one of the best burgers I've had. It did have maybe a little too much cheese, but the quality and flavor was worth it. The service was outstanding, our server was super energetic and on top of things. The atmosphere was a little dark, but overall a cool vibe and definitely a break from the modern minimalist interior design.

Excellent cocktails, good food, marvellous ambiance and the service.. we had a gigantic unruly group and the staff anticipated and sorted all of our needs, my gratitude.

Place has a good atmosphere and a passable drink menu but be aware of the following: If there's a band playing, tickets aren't sold at the door, you will instead find a live music fee added to your bill. They don't mention this ahead of time, there's no sign on the door or anything, so unless you ask the server, you won't know how much it will be until you pay your bill. This arrangement also means that when the payment terminal prompts you for a tip, it will be applied to the total including the music fee. If you don't expect to pay a 20% tip on top of the price of show tickets (I don't) you'll need to take steps to work around this. This is by design and a little unscrupulous IMO.

Bar food pretty much sums up this place, I think the concept that they have live music is nice. This is a good place for group hangouts, but I don’t believe you are here for the food. Side note, probably the worst service I have encountered at a restaurant in a long time. I usually never comment on this unless it is noticeably excellent or terrible and unfortunately, it is the latter this time. Don’t know the name of the female server, but she definitely had an attitude when serving us and ignored me when I made full eye contact with her to wave her down when all I wanted was cutlery for my dish, which I deem to be fairly important for eating. I will not be coming back.

I recently had a great experience at The Painted Ship with a group of friends for a casual birthday celebration. The service was top notch and the food was delicious, all within an awesome live music atmosphere!! I highly recommend this place for any occasion as the music can be a main focus or a background bonus.

For a neighbourhood establishment, Becky is one the best at remembering the regulars even if it's been a few months. A quality a lot of the staff don't have.
The burger is one of the best in town it's worth the $24 price tag. 👏😋

I'm from Saskatoon and was here for a music event. Love, love, LOVE this place! The decor is both fun and relaxing, the staff is amazing, the food is unreal, and the overall vibe is 15/10. Cannot recommend highly enough. PS: Get the crispy chicken wings and the fried ribs!!
