Edit Feb 2025 - got the chicken and rice and it had quite few tough pieces of chicken. Flat bread was nearly raw and forgot the extra sauce I paid for. Hopefully things go back to how they used to be :(
Chicken and rice with flatbread and extra shack sauce is all you need if you’re hungry and need a simple meal that will fill you up. Thank me later. (Also they don’t play with spice)

The place look busy and high quality from outside but the food is opposite to that. The chicken was dry and rest of the bits tasted funny. 1 hour later my partner threw up while on the way back home, next morning I was unwell too. They are definitely not following food safety regulations. Horrible experience. Save your hard earned money. 💵

Passing this location and bus line convenience to stop to try. However, if you come by car, it will be parking at back alley. Snowing day will be challenging. Menu board too high, print small. Unfriendly for person with eyes problems.. no courtesy menu on the ordering table. Clerk more interested you order online and not promote to group who are walk in. For food, the marinade skin and sauce are beautiful. If gets cold, chicken turn dry and bitter.
Seating area feel cold and not inviting.
Vegetarian options: Beyond meat. Is available and side dishes as corn or salad.

Love love love the chicken here! Great menu options! If I'm not having the half chicken with a side of mashed potatos I'm ordering the chicken and rice which is a tasty and affordable option. A Kingsway institution which I hope will stick around for many years to come!
