What a night to remember! I just got back from the Talaash Bollywood party at The Pit on July 18th and I'm still buzzing from the energy. The lineup was long, I've been to events where I've waited for hours, but this one was quick and efficient. We were in and having a blast in minutes, no huss, no fuss.

The environment was top-notch, I felt completely safe and comfortable from the get-go. The vibe was lively and welcoming, and I loved how everything was so well-organized.

Now, onto the main event: the music! The DJs had an incredible selection of songs that kept the crowd engaged and dancing all night long. I certainly did! I danced my heart out, losing myself in the rhythm and beats.

What really made the night special, though, was the staff and security. They were super friendly, approachable, and helpful. You could tell they were there to ensure everyone had a great time, and it showed.

All in all, I'd give this Bollywood party a solid 5-star rating. If you're looking for a fun, lively night out with great music and an amazing atmosphere, then this is the place to be! Can't wait for the next one!

This place is mainly a drinking hole with cheap specials and events. It's very big inside. As for the food it isn't memorable. Just cheap style pub food with low prices.
However service has always been fantastic for me. Get in early or you'll see a huge line up like in the photo. If you’re a long Island tea drinker, it's cheap and good here.

Extremely long and slow line for the bar. I have never seen such a slow bar in my life. There is something is wrong with their machines as well because I ordered a Coca Cola and it was completely tasteless and likely very watered down. How do you mess up pouring a soda?

I attended Bollywood Night, and here’s my unfiltered review:

- The DJ tried to be stylish with the beats, but he didn’t realize everyone was there for Bollywood songs. Also he just tried to add weired hooks / trending memes in between the songs right before the fun part of the song where it hits you which killed the vibe multiple times.
- Drinks were overpriced, with a 15% gratuity added automatically by default and felt diluted.
- A fire alarm went off, which completely killed the vibe.
-The song selection was decent but inconsistent. The DJ played a few great tracks, then switched to slower, regional songs that didn’t appeal to a pan-India crowd.
- Compared to other bollywood parties around in Vancouver this one seemed decent and didn't carry the crazy boys gang who just goes crazy and act weired. So that was nice. There were few but not enough to kill the vibe.

Had a fantastic time there last night April 4th because my friends abs the battle of the bands but your service is piss poor, super slow bartenders and with how bad the service for the bartender to auto pick max tip every time was a slap in the face I would have tipped but her not giving out an option is just bad service. I doubt I'll ever be back or recommend this place until the barkeepers are replaced

The bouncers are extremely rude, targeting individual people, particularly women by attempting to intimidate them. Have been there numerous times and have heard very similar stories from several other women as well. Only attempt they made to reconcile was after we had to formally complain to their supervisor about them. Would not recommend, prices are also completely outrageous for students.

The security team is very incompetent when it comes to handling conflict. They escalate matters unnecessarily and their manners are not up to Canadian standards.

The bartenders auto-tip 30% on every single drink you buy. When paid in cash, they doesn’t even give you the exact change back. :) Long Island Ice Tea doesn’t even really have 5 different type of drink like it’s supposed to be. Check your bills before you pay them. Ask for receipts!

Literally went out tonight, i was very ahead in line. Suddenly people started bringing their friends into line. Just about in 10 minutes we were crossed by 50 people. We waited for 45 minutes . We ended up leaving even being in good position in the line. There should be a rule for people who do not respect that others are waiting in the line. They should learn to respect and join the line from behind where the line starts, not to just around in middle. If you people love to bringing your friends randomly in the middle of the line. Then should also go back and join with them. Learn the professionalism of FIFO.

This place sure does Rock. They have very responsive management. If you have any concerns, they'll deal with it very professionally and quickly. This place gets packed on certain nights of the week. They have a variety of different, guest DJs. They also have special nights. You might want to check out their calendar and see what's going on.

The security guards wouldn’t leave me alone the whole time. They pat me up and down shortly after I ordered my drinks and searched my bag. They eventually kicked me out after my friend went home for the night after pulling me aside multiple times to investigate what I’m doing. I was dancing and partying like everyone else. I can’t help but feel that I was singled out as a trans individual but they didn’t really give me a reason for forcing me out aside from the fact that I had drank quite a bit. Would not recommend coming here if you are LGBTQ+, especially trans. Waste of money.

Hello. I am messaging regarding an incident which happened at the after party of the holi event. I arrived to the party with my group consisting of both boys and girls. I think mentioning that there were girls in my group is necessary for the stereotype behaviour which we went through. There was a guard/bouncer, wouldn’t know what his designation was but the moment we arrived he targeted me stating that “you are too intoxicated to go inside”, mind you he let my other friends pass. I tried to reason with him that I was not intoxicated but he didn’t budge. I tried to come around a few times and the third time I tried there was someone else who let me in asking what the problem was. Clearly the person who let me in saw that I was not intoxicated. He even made a joke about it and we all laughed. This was already very insulting and humiliating for me. Later when we were inside the man again targeted our group but this time he pointed out to another guy that he’s intoxicated. Funny thing the guy he pointed out doesn’t even drink. It clearly shows that the man’s ego got hurt because the other guy let us in. He kicked my friend out solely on assumption that he was drunk. He even accused us of teasing girls. That was completely uncalled for. I have no idea why he was targeting us but he ruined our night, wasted our time and money. I am messaging this to you so something can be done about it. I cannot emphasise more on the point of it being absolutely humiliating. I hope you question that person or at least some action is taken against him. This was downright harassment.
