The chai latte had a thin taste like they used too much water and the breakfast sandwich tasted kinda…cheap I guess. The taste reminded me of a sandwich that had been prepared and then lived in a plastic bag before being warmed up. The apple turnovers however, mmm chefs kiss. So tasty and wonderfully flaky.

Nice interior, lots of space, great if you want to work or study there. Fast service, coffee was made fast, but I didn’t liked it, it tastes burnt even if it contained milk taste was strong. Maybe next time time it will be better made ??‍♀️

Very expensive tiny sandwich on a straight out of the fridge sugary bun.

Cool coffee shop, interesting pastries, friendly staff. But a few times they have almost rushed me out because they close early.

Grabbed an oat chai tea latte. It was decent but I would have liked it a lot hotter because it was only warm. The staff were nice but not that friendly, they kind of seemed bored! I loved the decorative print wall near the back.

Love this spot! My favorite to grab a coffee. They also allow dogs for takeaway so I prefer this to other places when out for a walk with my dog

Caution: Inaccurate PricingI recently visited The Press Room and wanted to share my experience to caution other buyers. While I wasn't particularly upset, there were a couple of issues that I believe should be brought to light.Firstly, I was surprised when I was charged both PST and GST on my purchase. In Vancouver, it is common knowledge that only GST is applicable to food items. This discrepancy in pricing seemed a bit dishonest to me, but regardless, it's important for others to be aware and double-check the prices before making a payment ????Additionally, I ordered a croissant that was advertised as freshly made in the morning. However, I discovered that the inside was frozen. This was quite disappointing, as I had expected a warm and flaky treat.Despite these issues, I must commend the staff for their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist. However, I hope that they take these concerns into consideration and make the necessary improvements to provide a more accurate and enjoyable experience for their customers.

Amazing coffee, specifically the special yin yang coffee - their take on the classic HK style half coffee half milk tea. Nice selection of food.

"And what size would you like your flat white?" - that question right there cemented this place to 4 stars - though it was a decent (8oz!) flat white. Had the breakfast bagel thing which was nice, though not a fan of using those plastic orange cheese slices (save that for Maccas!). I would say I'd still pick this place over the JJ Bean next door if not just to not support a corporate franchise, but could definitely be just that little bit better to make me come here for it's own merits
