Obsessed at first bite! I was excited to try out this place as it has historical significance. And it did not dissappoint. The black garlic tonkatsu ramen I ordered had all the right elements that make a mouth-watering bowl of hearty ramen....nice toppings perched on top of your choice of regular or vegan egg noodles, bathed in a rich broth with just the right amount of umami black garlic 👌 Service, food, and ambiance was all top notch ✅. Had a late dinner at the ramen butcher, tried the tonkatsu ramen and vegetarian ramen. Both are tasty and the portion was worth it. For the drink chosen, the flight of sake, 3 samples of sake for polished rice wine from rough to soft. It was perfectly fit for ending the heavy dinner.

i don’t really know where else i can get tsukemen in vancouver, but i’m so glad i found this place because they do it really well. the noodle texture is so bouncy and perfect, the broth was delicious, and i LOVED the pork.
