Such an amazing venue!We celebrated my boyfriend’s 30th Halloween bday bash and everyone had a blast. From booking the venue to the service on the day of, it was smooth and easy. We had about 50 guests and everyone had nothing but good things to say. The server and bartender were so professional and fun. Will definitely book this venue again in the future.

Big thank you to DAN and JESS! Recently my partner threw me a surprise bday party at the Refinery with 40 of my closet friends. Everything was amazing, the food, drinks, dj and the most importantly—the bartenders! Dan and Jess were exceptional. Especially Dan, who made an effort to remember everyones name, their drink of choice and even took time to to make some good banter between mixing well crafted cocktails. What a gem! We were trilled to have him bartender that night and The Refinery is lucky to have him too! Many thanks guys, we will be back!!

The good: my partner booked the back patio space for a private event, the staff were very nice, the food portions were generous and the drinks were tasty.The bad: when it came to settling the bill, the staff accidentally left off all the food so in the final hour of the event, we were continuously told that we were still $400 away from minimum spend.The ugly: because of this misinformation, we kept ordering more rounds of shots, rounds of drinks for the kitchen, and when we were told we still hadn’t hit min spend even though everyone was way past plastered, we ended up buying marked up bottles of $20 wine. When my partner finally caught the mistake in the billing, it took 40 minutes for management to try and refund us for the wine - which could not be done in their system. Management offered a couple options to try and “net out” the wine vs the food, but at that point we were super drunk and not at our sharpest, so we’re unsure if it was a good resolution.We do think this was an honest mistake, but it ended up in many of our guests overpaying for extra rounds (and being way over served) to try and help us hit the spend - when we had already reached it hours ago.So if you have an event here, check your bill first.

I celebrated my 40th Birthday at The Refinery last night and I have to say it was hands down the best venue for it. The food was delicious (I ordered off the Canape menu) and everyone was so accommodating. We had many questions about the venue and how things would work for last night and each one was answered, really appreciated the patience with that! Staff were great and my guests enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend this place and would do an event here again in the future without any hesitation.
