Terrible traffic from SeatoSky gondola to Vancouver when got to Sandbar restaurant there was a 2 hour wait. 1 hour later we were seated and really enjoying the views from our table and the salmon/caesar salad were great tasting. The room where we were seated was not crowded, had a cozy atmosphere and the tables were nicely spaced apart so you didn’t feel like you were sitting in neighbors lap. Service was outstanding, never waited more than a few minutes to order and the food...
A stunning restaurant on the water with beautiful views of downtown.
We had two mains (jumbo prawns & cedar plank salmon), they were both amazing! Cooked perfectly and full of flavour.
Our server Josh, was attentive, friendly & knowledgeable.
We also had two cocktails that were both fantastic.
A lovely experience overall and a great final meal in Vancouver.

The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant was busy and it took a while for us to get seated since we were a big group, but the staff was nice and welcoming. I enjoyed the lobster and steak, and the portions really filled our stomachs before continuing our visit to Granville Island. A good spot if you want seafood and a lively atmosphere.
