This should be a fabulous place. Setting is lovely. But the service was terrible.
Staff is completely inattentive….the sign outside says to come in and let staff seat you, so we came in, made eye contact with several of the staff…and were completely ignored. I had to actually walk to the kitchen to get anyone to even acknowledge we existed.
Once we managed to get seated, we found ourselves looking at a generic menu. We ended up just leaving….its been about 45 minutes, I’m not sure they’ve even noticed yet…🤣

A solid 4.5. Good quality food.A limited menu but you can check that before you decide to visit. Our indoor table was quite cramped but there is outdoor seating. Where else can you get a scoop of buttermilk ice cream for dessert for $4 - make it an affogato for another $4.
My wife and I just had a lovely dinner on the patio in the evening. We had a great little table outside and location of the restaurant is awesome. The food was delicious as were the cocktails and wine. Would highly recommend for a fun date spot off the main strip with a great atmosphere on a nice day.

Was there for a glass of wine and some appetizers before going to the theatre. Wine selection was good, food was great, sat at the bar and service was excellent.

My friends wanted a quiet place for lunch in S Granville and The Stable House was the perfect choice. The menu is limited but we all found something we enjoyed; they loved the quiche and mac and cheese. The salmon toast was also tasty although the poached eggs were pretty firm (I should’ve asked for runny, but forgot and wasn’t asked.) The inside was very quiet - perfect for comfortable conversation. The outside patio is lovely, complete with a firepit. A very nice restaurant that feels a world apart from the bustle.
