This bistro is a great place to have some drinks and share a plate of something to nibble at. If you are relaxed and not in a rush and have time to enjoy the atmosphere that is super cozy then this place is for you . The service is relaxed and laid back but really good I find . I love sitting at the bar as well on my own to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day at work. They always have some vegetarian options that are great on the menu as well.Vegetarian options: They switch their menu but always have a few options I find if your vegetarian that are really good.

Pork belly & sable mains were ...textbook perfect.Mushroom and bread starters also very nice.Only surprise of the evening being the nearly empty house, oh well more attention for our table.

Cute restaurant, tables packed in ( could use 1-2 less tables to highlight ambiance). Server was pleasant and timely. Meals adequate - small for the cost. My steak was very disappointing. $38 for 8 small slices of steak - no accompaniment. I ordered mashed potatoes $7, which were very good. Gravy with them excellent. But overall for $45 not worth it. Others in our group had Sablefish, which they decried as “ pretty good”.We tried this on a friends recomdndations after they had lunch here.

This place has so much potential but fell so short this evening. The food is quality, the ambiance is beautiful, but the service that we had tonight was the biggest let down I have ever experienced. When our group sat down and asked about the menu and how it should be enjoyed, our server was unable to explain the menu. They were unable to give us an idea of how many dishes we should be enjoying, how the menu should be ordered, and completely unaware of any dietary restrictions or substitutions on their menu. Sure that may not be a big deal, but during dinner our server completely forgot two dishes and blamed the kitchen on being "late" and forgetting to prepare the food. We only received one of those dishes that the kitchen had supposedly forgotten to make. Everyone in the industry will have challenging nights, but it was even more disappointing to hear that the tables next to us had literally the same experiences of missing dishes and it being blamed on the kitchen. To top it off, when we ordered our second bottle of wine, it took 20 minutes to arrive - after we had finished all of our food. From auctioning off our food at the table, to no drop lines, to forgetting a third of our dinner that evening... it was an extremely frustrating and expensive experience.

We live very close to this restaurant, and we were excited to try it today, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. We waited a long time to place our order, and it took over forty minutes for our food to arrive. The dishes were simple, and I'm unsure why it took so long. Additionally, the portion sizes were small, and the food lacked flavor, making it not very enjoyable. We ended up spending a total of $85 for two people, including parking. Even though it's close to home, I might not consider coming back.

Chill place to hang out with friends. Unfortunately they were out of some of the items on the drinks menu. The menu is limited but the offerings were good.

Always a great experience from the wine board to the food. Tucked away around the corner from the busy street of Granville, one will delight in this warm room with food and drink.

We had high expectations but the food was a real let down. We found most things were either bland or odd. And $31 for a mediocre risotto was a big disappointment. Even the desserts were small, dry and dull.

A very different experience from most of the reviews here:- Bartender was rude/obnoxious; chewed out my friend for looking at the big board menu- Food was mediocre at best - Friend got the Gnocchi which was ok, few of us split a 5 piece/$35 Charcuterie plate that was basically a very meager Costco/supermarket plate and the bread was very hard and holey. The Focaccia was bone dry and tasteless.- Staff was a bit rude and super slow

I live a few blocks down the road and when walking by, I needed to quickly use a washroom. I walked in to their restaurant, there were no employees present when I entered. Just two customers at the bar. I quickly rushed to the bathroom and when leaving there was a man standing by the exit door. I explained that I was desperate for a washroom and thanked him. He implied that I was not “ nice” for using their washroom with out asking. Both himself and another man in the restaurant expressed frustration that I used the bathroom. The interaction felt intimidating an arrogant. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all, I had every intention of dining at this location but will 100% avoid it now. I was otherwise well dressed and well mannered, this was a very unfortunate experience.

I'm surprised about all the high reviews. We had a very mediocre to sub-par experience. The wine list is long but there are no full-bodied reds available, or savignon blancs available, which is strange. We wished they had a real reserve menu with high-end options. The off-menu shiraz that was offerered was barely drinkable. The white wine I had was not good. There was no cocktail list and they were out of their "special" cocktail. The food menu feels so limited compared to the wine list. The gnocchi flavor was strange. The foccacia was dry. The service was mediocre. We were seated so close to the tables next to us it didn't feel private.Pros: The beans were delicious. I wish the red pepper sauce from the beans were on the gnocchi. The popcorn was delicious.
