The atmosphere has potential and the lighting does some heavy lifting, but the place is clearly overdue for a serious renovation. The couch we were seated on needs complete replacement. Not repair. Not another patch. Replacement. It was so chewed up and torn that I honestly wouldn't expect to see it in most back-alley dumpsters. Sitting there felt less “speakeasy chic” and more “abandoned set piece.” The lamp in the middle of the table was also broken, crooked, and held together with visible tape. It's one thing to aim for an eclectic, worn-in look - it's another to serve drinks next to something that looks like it failed a safety inspection. Drinks-wise: please, more sour, balanced cocktails and far less sugary nonsense. Everything leaned overly sweet, which is disappointing for a place that markets itself as a cocktail bar. Food was the final nail. The burgers tasted like McDonald's. Nothing wrong with McDonald's when you're at McDonald's - but this is not that. Overall: decent atmosphere on the surface, but the furniture, maintenance, and drink balance seriously drag the experience down. Not a repeat visit for us.

For a Holiday themed event (Bar Humbug was the tag line) - the holiday decor was pretty limited. Drinks were good but pricy for the size. Once again, server only made any effort to engage with us after presenting the bill - the standard “any plans for tonight”....this seems to be the regularly scripted question to maybe garner extra tip $$$.

Usually have a great time at Stock, but oddly this time was just not great. Was expecting more out of the Christmas pop up, hoping it was going to be more than a few festive drinks, but maybe that was wishful thinking. I want to say though, the service here was extremely poor, and not the attitudes of the girls, but their attentiveness to how long it's been since you've stopped at the table. Pretty rough night for them, granted that it was decently busy. I get industry can have better nights than others, but this was exceptionally bad. Hoping next time we stop by, it can be a better night.

We stopped in for Bar Humbug but really didn't find much festive in decor or ambiance as we thought it would be. Beautiful bar thought, great drinks. Just not what we were expecting for the holidays :)

the food was amazing and the ambiance was nice, other than that we were very disappointed. despite the fact that staff watched us enter, it took us 5 minutes to be seen and then sat. there was no explanation as to how the ordering system worked to the point that my boyfriend had to go ask a server about it (this was especially confusing due to the note next to the QR code on the table). after that, the server grabbed our drink order and we asked for a minute to decide on our food order — it took her 30-35 minutes to come back to take our order, and it took 40 minutes for the food to come out. the drinks were so upsettingly bad that my boyfriend gave me the rest of his, where i subsequently got them taken away which we accompanied with a complaint about the quality. the server was very rude about us disliking the drink and didn’t bother to comp it despite the fact that it made me sick. maybe the worst espresso martini i’ve ever had and for $17!! the server was very patronizing and passive aggressive towards every comment or question we had. don’t get me wrong, i get it if you’ve had a long night or it’s busy, but she was just downright rude. i would recommend hundy, but not the stock room. that was the most disappointing restaurant experience i’ve had in a very long time. we could get better service at a subway

Came here to celebrate a birthday with my boyfriend and it was the perfect place. It’s a nice cozy speakeasy with great drinks and the best burgers we’ve ever had! Definitely coming back next time we’re in van!
They make the cocktails so professionally! I loved the Negroni—it was the real Italian one. Highly recommended!
