My friends and I come here often however our experience on New Years Eve was poor to say the least. We had a table for 6 and I asked the hostess if she could add another chair to our corner table. She said if one comes available she will bring it over. My boyfriend happened to grab a chair and our waiter ran over and moved it back. We told her the situation and she rudely advised us to talk to the manager. The manager came, did nothing and left. I told him the waiter was rude and he did not care. Our extra guest arrived and we were able to squeeze him into the booth. We had two friends at the bar and when my boyfriend went to say hi the same manager demanded he go back to his seat as he will not be served at the bar and only at his table. I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior at the stock room. Normally we are greeted with respect and kindness but not this night. Definitely left a sour taste in our mouths.

How fun. A quiet Sunday evening munching on hot French fries and sipping a superbly mixed Manhattan cocktail. The atmosphere here at The Stock Room is chill and the tunes were great! I’ll be sure to make this a regular event.

I had a very strange and disappointing experience at this place. The service was underwhelming; it seemed to take forever every time we wanted to order or have the server check on us (and I don’t think the place was at full capacity or busy). At one point, a friend tried to ask a question about her drink, and one of the servers curtly replied, “I can only answer quick questions,” which I honestly think was unnecessary and off-putting.
The food was also a letdown—probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. It lacked flavor and quality (and no tomatoes which I thought was a standard in a burger) and don’t expect to get plates or cutlery either, so be prepared to eat your food on a napkin.
The place is really cool and nice inside but the service and food felt pretty cheap.
And the most annoying part was being asked to leave after 2 hours despite still ordering drinks. I’m not sure if this might be standard practice but being rushed out after a disappointing visit just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Additionally, when trying to make a reservation online, I was instructed on the website to call directly for parties larger than six people. I called for two days in advance, but my calls never went through, and I received no response to my emails. When I asked about this in person, I was told they don’t actually take reservations for larger groups, which is completely at odds with what their website says. This lack of communication was incredibly confusing. Luckily some friends canceled (I had already booked for just six people which is the max through the website so at least I had a reservation), but the whole process was frustrating and inconsistent.
They charge service fees and 20% autogratuity yet they offer the worst service and rush you out the door…
It was cool to visit a new speakeasy in town but for this one I don’t think I’m ever coming back, there are better options out there.

Never encountered this much disrespect coming from a person that I’ve never met!! The waitress that served me and my family yesterday was so so rude and disrespectful to us. We were trying to enjoy a night out but instead we were unnecessarily being mistreated by her and her entitled behaviour. She not only did not even provide us with something to eat on ( we after realize she could’ve gave us this cardboard to eat on, which she refused to), but she rolled her eyes and was very abrupt in the way she talked to us. As the only server of the night we were expecting a bit more respect, we didn’t do anything to deserve this treatment and it’s not hard to be a little kinder. Right from the beginning, the minute we sat down she started being rude to us. I don’t understand why she treated us like this….. and it’s sad because the food and the drinks were good!

The waitress working on Dec 29th, around 9Pm was very rude to us, bad tone, rolling her eyes, and refused to bring us plates!!!!! Even though we were all sharing a Poutine and splitting burgers! Honestly the system of the restaurant might be this way but her terrible attitude is what ruined this otherwise exciting night for us. The atmosphere was great, and the food was pretty good though.
** when we were walking out we saw that other people had their burgers brought to them in cardboard boxes which would have made it really easy for sharing, but she opted for the paper bags for our burgers and said she won’t cut them in half

Really nice specialty cocktails, I didn't get any food but the service was great, atmosphere was cool but very narrow and not a lot of space bar lounge area, all high tops that we really saw in the front. Would go again
