Grabbed breakkie here a few days back before work and the service+food was unforgettable. The ambiance caught my eye but the hospitality definitely made me want to frequent this cozy joint more often. Tara's service was terrific, could not complain with the bottomless iced coffee before a long day, and I'm so glad she convinced me on the mangled eggs!!! That thing was like a loaded croissant on steroids 😹
Between the rest of the crew whippin' out delicacies from the kitchen and swiftly seating new patrons, I've gotta give special props to JC, Brendan, and Nikki for maintaining such seamless synergy throughout the morning, and helping add a little magic to mine when I needed it!
P.s. that pb shake is calling my nameeee 😭

Amazing service. Atmosphere was alright the place could use a touch up. Did was very mid and bland. Completely edible but took alot of hot sauce.

Amazing amazing amazing. A lady in there with blonde hair served us, i hate myself for not remembering her name but she was great. A must do for sure! Get a milkshake and thank me later.

Stepping back in time for brunch! This guest is nestled into a booth at The Templeton diner, soaking up all the authentic retro charm. They're enjoying huge portions of classic breakfast favourites and sipping on a handmade milkshake. It’s a genuine, old-school diner experience that feels straight out of a movie. One or the OG cafe in Vancouver serving great food with great service.
The atmosphere seemed cool from the photos but it was a bit janky in reality. But ultimately the food was just not good. I got a farmers hash with salsa and sour cream. The potatoes weren't very seasoned but I picked out what I think were rosemary stems from my food. The added vegetables were cold and undercooked, seemed like they were thrown in right at the end. The salsa seemed homemade though and was good. My partner got the standard breakfast and he didn't care for it either. The French toast was just thinly veiled bread with a bit of egg on top. The servers were super nice and friendly but wouldn't go back for the food.

Cute diner. If you're looking for quick diner food, this is the place! Their food isn't over the top amazing but it was ok. Prices were reasonable for what it was. Our server was super sweet. The bathroom spot is a little awkward, as you have to walk through the kitchen and around the corner. Is that not a hazard when they're busier? Overall it wasn't a bad experience.
