This pub is an English Bay staple. Love stopping in here for a drink and some food whenever I'm in the area. Always great beers on tap, great food, and friendly service. The place to be for the sunset and a beverage!

Really enjoyed my time at the Three Brits last Saturday. Fabulous energy and great food. The attentive bar staff and service made the experience memorable. Looking forward to going back.

Went for a spontaneous night out for dinner and drinks to The Three Brits. We had first class service from Nicola who was very pleasant and friendly. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the Pilsner on tap, but it would be nice to have an amber ale on tap. We really enjoyed the location close to the water with a great view of the sunset. A memorable first visit and we plan to be back.

Been here a few times and thought I would run a little experiment to weave out edge cases / anomalies. Most times service is pretty poor. This time around I wanted to actually track the time it takes from sitting down to ordering, to getting your drinks, to getting your bill. 16 mins to have a waitress approach the table after sitting down. 11 mins to get drinks. 15 mins waiting after drinks were done. We had to walk up to the bar to get her attention and grab the bill. We were hoping to get food, but the server didn’t come back so can’t comment on that. To the GM, this is a great location, good vibe, but service is the worst ive experienced anywhere. Lead times are brutal, but the servers also have a nasty attitude. Noticed a few others complaining as well.

Today was my best friend’s birthday dinner, and we were hoping for a nice evening, but unfortunately, it fell short in many ways. The drinks were good, and the food was okay-ish, but we specifically asked for no onions, and all of our dishes still came with a lot of onions. We waited 40 minutes for just four items (wings, salad, tacos, and fries), and by the time they arrived, we were too hungry to send anything back. The music inside was so loud we couldn’t even enjoy our own conversation. On top of that, when we sat down, we noticed pre-poured water already on the table and next to it was a dead fly. We not saying it’s unsanitary since it a open space so can’t prevent bug. We simply asked for a new glass, the server’s response was” How come?” which honestly left us shocked. We also made a reservation and included a birthday note, expecting at least a small gesture like a candle or simple acknowledgment. There was nothing at all. Really disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for anything more than a quick drink.

This place was not what I expected, as my boyfriend was here weeks ago and he enjoyed the chill and welcoming atmosphere with the views.
As someone who’s worked in the hospitality industry myself, I understand it can get busy. I understand how overwhelming it can be with one server on the floor when it gets unexpectedly busy later in the night. But never have I ever been served so poorly and felt SO unwelcome in a place. What was the reason the server was ignoring my friends and I? Was it due to how quiet we were, after being exhausted from being out all day? Was it due to the colour of our skin? Our age?
Mind you, we came BEFORE it got busy.
I would love to be enlightened, as after numerous attempted contacts of wanting the servers attention, she acknowledged us, but did not approach us. Did not offer to refill drinks. Did not bother to check in on us ONCE. She didn’t even bother to stick around or apologize and say “I’ll be right back” as she hands over our machines to pay. We had to get her attention as she assisted the table near us who came way later than us, and even THEN she did not bother to check up on us. My friend had to walk up to her and physically ask for the bill.
Left a bad taste in my mouth. There may have been a reason why this place wasn’t lined up with people the time we went, when the places around us were.

Visiting with extended family for a wedding. We were staying at the Sylvia, near English Bay. The restaurant is conveniently located. Doesn't look like much on the inside or outside, low key looking bar venue, but have to say the food was reasonably priced and the quality was surprisingly very good.

Had a classic burger with a Guinness. (Had their spicy margarita earlier to give it a try, but wasn't overly impressed with it). The burger didn't disappoint. Final bill was around $45 CAD. I would say roughly the same for home (Toronto). Rest of our group had the fish and chips, Cajun chicken, and salmon bowls. No one was disappointed with their choices. It was definitely worth eating here imo! 👍👍

Great vibe, good menu, BUT kitchen closes 4 and a half hours before the closing time? Kind of ridiculous, “innit”? lol The hell? Tried to get a snack to go along with the beer at 9:45pm and got advised kitchen is done for the day. Disappointing.

I can't speak to the food because no one came to ask me if I wanted to order food. Had one drink and left. One server stayed at the bar. Great view from the establishment.

FALSE ADVERTISING, should be CRIMINAL theft in my opinion, don’t be their next victim, subpar food (if they’re not out of the first three things I ordered, first of which were the advertised wings), lackluster service at best! Sign at front door CLEALY said they have drink specials, then when I ask why I didn’t receive the advertised price the waitress just tossed down a handbill saying 9pm-12am Sun-Thurs, and she then flat out REFUSED to honour the advertised price, even after I pointed out that it’s quite clearly advertised at the front door, she could care less, absolutely disgusting and dishonest! Tried ordering food, she said OK, then came back saying each time they were out, so I ordered the cheese stick app; small portion , just warm, and bland… sooo I’m going to say BLAND and outright DISHONEST sun up this excuse for a restaurant.

This place calls itself the three brits and doesn't even manage to serve a real pint. This place is an insult to all British people. A real pint is 20oz not 14oz. They should fix their sign outside. They are called the lic house.

Great little neighbourhood pub right at English Bay. There's no outdoor seating, but the huge windows open up and gives the ocean breeze a way in! Tasty bar food and friendly service round out this West End hot spot.
