Lipsmackingly delicious seafood at a reasonable rate. This doubled my enjoyment after the speed boat trip.

My partner and I currently writing this review while dining at The Vancouver Fish Company on Granville Island, and we couldn’t wait to write this review!

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a reminder of how lucky we are to live in Vancouver.

A special shoutout to our server, David, who truly elevated our experience. He was incredibly pleasant, and had such a genuine energy about him. We loved his performance — it made our Tuesday afternoon feel extra special.

We also took advantage of their 1/2 Price Tuesday Wine, and let me just say, it’s totally worth the hype. Great selection, great value. We’ll definitely be making this a regular treat!

Highly recommend this place — whether you’re a local or visiting Granville Island, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Too David- you da bomb ❤️

I put overall 2 because while the food and initially service was good.. the tall incompetent manager was unable to provide an explanation for bad hostess practice and clear discrimination. Is that how you value your customers? Shame.

While vacationing in Vancouver - My husband & I visited Granville Island and stopped her for a late lunch. He had the Halibut & chips. I had the prawn lettuce wrap and we shared the Maple Walnut Prawns which were to die for. Prawns were to perfection for the lettuce wrap and the Halibut & chips were on point. Nice ambiance. Staff was friend. I would highly recommend this place. We will return here for a meal when we visit Vancouver again.

I had the same type of fish cooked with less price. I meant both the taste and amount.

Came across the creek for fish, and had a very enjoyable dinner at VFC. The salmon was brilliant and service was prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. The hanging baskets were in full bloom and outlook over the boats very relaxing.

Good food !

The Seafood were good, it could be great with more seasoning rather than more butter, although the tomahawks were only ok since they’re more under seasoned. Steaks would definitely need more salt levels, although the service was absolutely amazing with the fun servers ?

We celebrated my birthday at the Vancouver Fish Company, and it was a fantastic experience! My husband and I ordered the mussels, seafood linguini, halibut fish and chips, and a bottle of Prosecco – every dish was absolutely delicious! The mussels were fresh and flavorful, the seafood linguini was perfectly cooked with generous portions of seafood, and the halibut fish and chips were crispy and tender. The Prosecco was the perfect complement to our meal, adding a touch of elegance to our celebration. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the night feel special. Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience!

Fantastic restaurant on granville island. Friendly service. Happy hour is fantastic. As it was a networking event, I ordered stuff that wasn’t “too messy”. I’m looking forward to bringing my wife here for date night to try even more of the menu.

The perfect spot to indulge in fresh, beautifully prepared seafood in Vancouver, From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel at home with their warm welcome and fireplace.

The menu is a seafood lover's paradise, with everything from local oysters to indulgent seafood towers. I had the Lobster and Crab Risotto, which was beyond delicious—creamy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender chunks of lobster and crab.

The wine list pairing beautifully with the seafood selections. Our server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations that truly elevated our dining experience.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting, the Vancouver Fish Company should be on your must-try list. Can't wait to go back!

Very good meal! Expensive, but excellent. The cod risotto and seafood pasta are delicious and the waiter Chris gives very good advice. For a good fish restaurant this is the right place!
