Tasty brunch, great staff
Incredible atmosphere, incredible food, and staff that always make me feel at home. This place has it all
Poor communication between staff - Went for brunch and was told at the front that it would be a 10-15 minute wait as they cleared our table. We were asked to wait outside. Meanwhile, another group walked in and waited inside. Another host gave that group our table so we walked back inside and that host told us it was going to be about a 25 minute wait for a table. Ended up walking away frustrated and hungry.
I had a 100$ gift card to the whip YVR. When I was there and tried to use it they said that they had changed ownership and even though it’s still called the whip the gift card wouldn’t work. The server then told me to e mail the owner and they would sort it out I have sent two to the owner and one to the info e mail not even a reply bit rude not going back.
Asked for proof of vaccination. If you’re supporting this mandate you deserve to go out of business. ??
The fries were good and there was a nice patio.
So sad my favourite neighbourhood bar is shutting down :(The smashed burgers were absolutely incredible and the service was always chill and attentive. Best of luck!
I heard this place is finally closing on Friday 14 Jan 2022.hallelujah!Here's hoping a better restaurant opens in it's place and guts the disgusting kitchen.Walk down the alley and you'll see what conditions your food has been prepared in.
They have changed the menu since my 5* review two years ago, it's more sparse, especially the drink selection. They used to have really good sangria, now they just have a handful of $14-16 cocktails so hopefully you're coming for beer! I'm pretty disappointed considering everything else in the area is beer focused.
Oh no! Final service on Friday, January 14, 2022! Better go and get your last fix for me since I won't be able to get there in time! Last time I went was before the pandemic in February 2020.

my wife and I absolutely love this place and have made it our frequent neighbourhood spot. best chicken sandwich I've had and those $10 happy hour smash burgers are unbeatable. BUT, I have to say it: the house ketchup sucks. absolute everything else is so great, I love the vibes and service is so good. it's just a sort of watery and not very ideal tasting pairing for their otherwise great fries. still absolutely coming here frequently, but also always wishing the server says "hey try our new and improved ketchup"
Pretty ok! The Kale Ceasar was good. The wine selection was ok. My friend's ? looked a little flat, but he didn't complain.
It was my first time there with some friends of mine. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their signature burger was fantastic. And so were their fries. Their local beer list was also very good. Highly recommended.
I love the atmosphere at this place. The wait staff are fantastic. The playlist is bizarre which is a great talking point.
Great patio and it is dog friendly! Had really good service. Great food for sharing. The mushrooms and the wings were so delicious.
