The service/bar tender was amazing but the prices of the drinks were disgustingly priced all other bars are cheaper. Do not go here if looking for reasonly priced drinks.
Went here for Alpha Gamma Delta's afterparty and it was a great time! I loved riding the bull, and the drinks were fairly priced and went down easy.

This was the vibe we needed for our pre-Zach Top Shenanigans. Very lit š„ atmosphere, kind of a younger crowd, great country music. Its attractions are the Mechanical Bull, and the punching machine. Drinks were flowing like wine, lots of beautiful people. It got very crowded, but not sure if thats typical on a Friday night or due to the Zach Top concert the next day. Washrooms were gross, not enough tables for the crowd, punching station was in an inconvenient spot, all in all, we had fun, definitely recommend this place for the country fans, good ol honky tonkin good time.

Thank you so much The Yale Saloon!
I celebrated my birthday at The Yale Saloon, and honestly, it was one of the best nights I had in Vancouver! From the moment of booking to our arrival, the staff made everything so easy and fun ā they even had me and all my friends on the guest list for the whole night!
Everyone there was incredibly friendly, but I have to give a special shoutout to Jude at the coat check and the bouncers ā they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, safe, and celebrated. Their kindness and energy really made the night unforgettable.
The vibe was amazing, the music was on point, and the whole place just had that perfect country-party feel. Iāve never felt happier or more at home in a Vancouver bar before. Plus the mechanic bull was soooooo much fun, the aesthetic was perfect for pictures and a very good vibe.
Huge thanks to The Yale Saloon team ā you made my birthday super special! I canāt wait to come back! ā¤ļø

Had an awesome time at the Yale Saloon! The drinks were top-notch with plenty of options to choose from, and the highlight of the night was definitely the mechanical bull. Not only was it a blast to ride, but the guy running it was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. He kept the atmosphere fun, and made sure everyone was safe, and for ladies in dresses ensured they had shorts so they could ride comfortably. The Polaroid wall was also such a cool touch, full of memories and laughs to look at. Between the great drinks, the bull, and the welcoming vibe, the Yale Saloon is definitely worth a visit if youāre looking for a fun night out.

The staff at the Yale are remarkable and they have AMAZING service. The mechanical bull operator is beyond impeccable and very respectful towards everyone. I love the Yale so much and the community with the Yale, I have been coming for three years for line dancing and country dancing and have never been disappointed, unless itās due to another patron that has terrible behaviour. I love this place so much, itās the best bar on the strip.

Cover here is OVERRATED like what am I paying like $25-$30 for. Drinks are overpriced too. They wanna be SO different at the Yale compared to other clubs that they fail badly. Also way too overcrowded. Tons of better places on Granville and even Davie. Staff is also incredibly rude like the one guy running the mechanical bull probably hates even being there and throws shade at everyone. His pictures posted somewhere in the reviews anyways.

They had huuuge US flags in this dump and when I asked the manager about it she rolled her eyes. It's definitely not the Yale it used to be when they amazing blues.

$25 cover is a crime š. The volume of people definitely dropped recently. Drink prices also criminal.

honestly i used to love this place! I donāt know if they changed management or what but the vibes are not the same⦠they didnāt play country the entire time I was there When I asked the DJ, he said he was told to play āupbeatā music. Which meant not country⦠in a country bar

Absolutely appalling behaviour from someone who clearly has no business working in the service industry. This individual was not just rude - he was openly arrogant, dismissive and completely unprofessional toward every single paying patron he encountered that I witnessed. His disdain for the job and the people he's paid to serve was on full display. If interacting with paying patrons that keep the establishment in business is such a burden, do everyone a favour: get an education and find a career more suitable for your temperament. Your attitude is an embarrassment to the establishment and a disgrace to the industry.

this place has potential to be very enjoyable it has a nice atmosphere and the mechanical bull was a lot of fun to ride. however the extremely poor service made what could have been a great experience into a complete joke.
i asked for a menu and the server literally replied āwe donāt have a menuā. this was obviously false as i can see pictures of the food and the menu online. my friends and i went hungry as a result of this
