Had a coffee, almond croissant and breakfast wrap. All very good, very large croissant (a meal in itself really). Place has industrial vibe with lots of light, enough seating for about 20 patrons located between the cash and kitchen

I quite like this cafe, great coffee, good pastries, and a nice vibe. It’s perfect for two people, though larger groups might be hard to find tables to accommodate all. Definitely worth checking out.

The food was good, I ordered the Italian panini and when it arrived, a nice aroma wafted through the air and filled my lungs.

Timbertrain Coffee is right next to Porchlight Press where we bought unique letterpress booklets and cards where we were doing last minute shopping. We were so hungry it was necessary to stop.As shown on the menu, there were no vegan lunch items, so I was stuck with smoked chicken and pear sandwich with no way of removing the egg-based mayo. Oh well, time for some B12 food. The sandwich was properly heated, with the inside impressively heated, and the outside crunchy. The pear was a pleasant touch. The coffees were well made and micro-foam just fine. We've had coffee here previously, but I didn't realize that there are tables behind the coffee bar. The space inside was industrial, bare but honestly pleasant. Quiet too because the tables were not full, only one person seemed to be camped there with a laptop. We find this location more pleasant than the Timbertrain in Gastown.

Cool space in a quiet neighborhood. Their coffee is really great! They also sell various coffee beans and barista items.

Ventilation is getting worst and worst. I like your coffee but the smells inside the coffee shop is just a bit excessive. Is there any way you can improve your ventilation? Also, can you also schdedule at least 2 people to work at the front in the morning? We need our coffee quick so we can go to work. There is always a line up in the morning. Only 1 person working as a cashier and barrister, while four Korean are at the back chit chating and talking loudly.

Great team working here and love the coffee, our local go to 😊
Made my morning! I just had the ham cheese croissant, and it was so buttery and flavourful with cheesy goodness and a little salty ham. The coffee is great, and the cookies are huge and fresh tasting. A friendly, relaxed morning greeting with amazing goodies, what more could I ask for.

No amount of good coffee can make up for bad service. Thankfully this place should not worry about this problem. Both the service and the coffee were amazing. I enjoyed every minute of being there. Highly recommend this place.
