Had an immaculate bagel, perfect for a cheap good meal.
On Melville or the surrounding area, if you are looking for a satisfying lunch, this sandwich place is the perfect spot.
If you are in and out, they can get you a sandwich and coffee in a jiffy. Owned by a husband and wife team, they are a jolly team.
Try their Tuna or Seafood club sandwich, just spot on! Oh...and also they have plenty of soup bowls as well as salads!
Worst coffee I've had in Vancouver
Nice cafe with plenty of healthy options and fresh ingredients. Lots of fun snacks too. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating.
Good sandwiches and very nice people.
Mimi & Peter at Time Out Cafe are fantastic. They are so kind, attentive and create great food. If we ever moved offices I would go out of my way to have lunch here.
Had an egg and cheese bagel, really good! Will definitely go back and recommended to my colleagues.
Saw that they sell lottos here, and I purchased one for 10 dollars. I used my card I asked for a receipt and the owner lady grilled me, she said you didnt mention you where paying with credit and that she had to charge me 50 cents for using my credit card. Lottos have no taxes and there was no signs anywhere stating i was looking around and the cash area for a sign of 50 cent credit card fee and asked too but she continued to be angry at me. I asked for a refund, i wasn’t arguing her. And she continued to grill me “i said debit card.” To be honest i heard card and said yep. Cause I know other establishments have signs on certain amounts they charge more for a silly reason. The guy owner came and said its fine, next in line… if there was a sign in plain sight i would have definitely mentioned that i am using my cc. But there was non.
I found this gem since it is very close to work, they have very good options for breakfast as well as lunch, place is nice and clean and run by a friendly couple, good quality sandwiches and prices are very fair. Totally recommended for a quick bite.

people leaving really low reviews feel like picky and pretentious foodies (like sorry but to that one person— who cares that they have stock images on some posters? do you expect a mom and pop shop to get a professional photographer? it’s on you for not being able to tell it’s obviously stock photos hahaha).
This is a very simple, comforting, and classic family run cafe — your expectations should match that. The couple there is very sweet and there’s all kinds of comfortable and cozy seating.
Don’t go for the bog standard pastries, go for the fresh sandwiches. The salmon bagel was perfectly ratio’d, fresh, quick, and tasty.
I liked their cappuccino more than the 7 dollar one i got across the street at parallel. Prices are some of the best out of all cafes in the area (i’ve tried most of them)
Also, a lot of people are failing to mention my favourite part- there’s a whole convenience store in there! All kinds of drinks and snacks and gum and even candy. Super convenient to pick stuff up for later in your day.
Excited to try their other stuff
tldr: simple, homey, affordable, fast, and there’s a convenience store inside!
