I first heard about this place from my Vietnamese friend, and another friend recommended it today — so I was really excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, I regretted it the moment I stepped in.
The venue felt small, cramped, and uncomfortable. It was also quite cold inside. While I was already closing the door, the cashier suddenly yelled, “Would you please close the door?” — which was a huge turnoff. I was closing it, so that abrupt tone came across as unnecessarily rude and made me want to leave immediately.
The food itself was good, but the dessert was disappointing. I’d heard their desserts were unique and highly recommended in Vancouver, but when we ordered their “#1 best seller,” it turned out to be just sweetened coconut milk with toppings. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t special either — and the portion was small for the price.
There were even electric scooters in the washroom. Very unhygienic.
To make things worse, we were told to leave because of a time limit — something no one mentioned to us beforehand.
Overall, I didn’t feel welcomed here. Between the staff’s attitude, the lack of warmth, and the overall experience, I can confidently say I won’t be returning.

I love frog legs, so I was excited to try the deep-fried frog legs on the menu. Unfortunately, they didn’t prepare them properly to remove the fishy taste, so they tasted awfully fishy and honestly quite disgusting. The salted egg sponge cake was also disappointing. It had no salted egg flavour at all, and the mayonnaise on top looked unappetizing. It was dried out, resembling the crusty mayo stuck to the sides of a jar.

Extensive menu options with good portions however the flavors and toppings weren't too my taste. Seems like things just all dumped in together. Grapes, avocado, jelly, watermelon, pearls, flan and yogurt doesn't mix well.

Honestly, there is a huge variety of options. However, the desserts are alright and the service is just as bad as the food. First of all, the tables are sticky and the menus are beaten up. The floor is dirty. I was so grossed out. We came in at 8pm, it took 30minutes to wait for the waiters to greet us and bring the food out. By 9:09pm, the waiter came out said told us “You sat here for too long, we have more costumers waiting outside” Seriously!!! We were shocked.

Really like this place. The desserts are superb and wow, so much variety. But I give it 4 stars cuz the service is always very slow.
I also feel that the owner can save the poor workers some time and efforts by fixing the front door. Each time a customer comes in or goes out, the door will be left ajar. A staff member would have to leave their post and attend to the door. They are busy enough.
On my first time here the washroom door lock was also broken, I was trapped in there for around 5 minutes. I had to break the lock to get out. I wasn’t very happy…..
They have fixed the door since 😅
Update : after being here over 15 times, I feel my reviews is quite fair. We still really like this place and will come back, but please … 90% of the time I’ve been here, the soap dispenser in the wr is empty.
It only triggers me to worry how clean the hands of the workers are. Isn’t there some kind of staff cleaning schedule? Also saw a fat rat in their parking lot today.
Good food but pretty terrible service. I had a pretty bad leg injury and had to use a crutch for it. After finishing my meal, I asked for the check. After waiting 5 minutes, I asked if I could get the check again. I waited another 5 minutes and in the end my sister was so pissed she walked up to the counter and pointed to my leg asking if they're ever gonna give us the check or do we have to walk up here. Finally the guy told us to please walk up. She again pointed to my leg and said that she'd appreciate it if they would have either, left the check at our table, or just told us that, instead of saying yes and leaving us hanging.
So many yummy Asian sweets here! My favourites are flan and che. But soy pudding and drinks are also very good. They open late and it gets very very busy after dinner time especially on weekend.

We got the impression that we were treated differently because of our backgrounds. Their food was generic, and their staff was extremely rude and condescending. This is no way to treat a polite, paying customer who visits the place often. I personally felt humiliated upon exiting the premises. Tread carefully. Thank you.
