Past 1 star review: Really cool place, staff were great, but honestly some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had. Usually don’t leave reviews but just wanted to let management know that the tacos need changing up! We got one of each, off the menu but honestly none of them felt tasty enough to finish. No sauce meant tacos were dry and wraps very chewy, black bean one was tough to get through :( again, great location with great potential but just wanted to leave my thoughts!
Four star review: Tonight i made my storied return to Tocadero. Unfortunately for me, a colleague celebrated his 52’nd birthday and a last minute meal was arranged. Tocadero was available (of course), but much to my chagrin, the tacos had been through a remarkable makeover. Tasty, trying and at room temperature - these tacos and Stephanie’s service, get 4 stars.

Had an amazing experience here recently with their Dine Out promotion. The food for all of the courses was excellent and well worth the value.
Staff was friendly and it was a nice vibe. Would definitely swing by here again next time I'm in the Mount Pleasant area!

This is my second time going to this restaurant and I loved it as much as the first time. I love the atmosphere, the service, and most definitely the food and of course the happy hour. No neee to wait until 3pm, their happy hour is from open to 6. I’ll be going back! Our server was great and we had an overall great experience.

Went here for dineout Vancouver, and I was unfortunately disappointed. The pork skewer appetizer did not advertise pineapple on them as well. That's not an issue, were it not that one skewer has maybe two whole pieces of pork, and one was all pineapple. The Milanesa was bad, the meat was like a flank steak cut, but not tenderized at all. Moreover it was dry and rubbery. The desserts were fine, but went heavier on the sugar than any other of the advertised flavours. The cocktails were good, albeit a bit overpriced. Stick to the alcohol and tacos, cos otherwise you will be disappointed.
