This place is clearly a cocktail-driven spot. We were lucky to get a spot at the bar on a Saturday night. It is snug but the vibes are cozy and the hostess as well as the mixologists/ bartenders were friendly and quick to attend any needs. The quick downfall was the food for anyone vegetarian. Limited options are fine but make them as good as you would for any one who opts for a meat option. The “smashed potato” taco was literally thanksgiving mashed potatoes between tortillas. The black bean tacos also came out as if they had been under a heat lamp 30 minutes+. The additional ingredients were non-existent, so you can forget the cilantro or queso fresco to compensate for seasoning, let alone the mole verde that was on the side for the mashed potatoes. If the stars align for a re-visit, it would be for cocktails only.

Very nice atmosphere and server! I would say, not a huge range of drinks I'd like, and the tacos were mid.

We came in for a cocktail ahead of going to dinner elsewhere. Good service and an interesting drink menu with many gin, rum and tequila oriented cocktails. A nice intimate vibe inside.

Happy hour and service was just a 10/10. Loved the cocktails and the servers were so lovely.

My wife and I ordered something to eat and a glass of soda each. The waitress kept bringing refills of soda without telling us that they were not included, meaning that I ended paying more for Diet Coke than for our dishes.
The menu doesn’t say anything about paying for refills, and nobody told a us before.

notfunny ok

Me and my friends got to try this place on Saturday night, Raven was very nice to find us a perfect spot, she was very friendly and also joked with us and we had a good laugh, really good service , very attentive, we ordered the mangorita, and birria tacos, the cocktails were really nice and refreshing, the tacos were a bit dry but still pretty delicious, must try spot! ??

Fun location.
The chilled octopus dish was good.
The actual taco didn't satisfy the pallette..
I found the beef a little dry.
Again, try it, maybe something your taste buds will enjoy, but not the 1st choice for us.

Their mango cocktail was good

2 stars only for their cocktails. The cocktails were delicious. However, the food was very underwhelming. We had tacos, aguachile, octopus tostada and queso fundido. They were all okay but nothing special especially for the price.

We would give it another try if it wasn’t for the service. We had to flag a server down just to order food. Our initial server disappeared altogether and she came back only to get our bill.

Overall, it was a solid OK - slightly better than fast food. There’s better Latin American places around Vancouver to go to.

Terrible, terrible, terrible service! The server was bordering on rude, and completely unhelpful with recommendations. A simple plate of chips and salsa took over 25 mins to be served! Halfway through our meal, she simply sat down at the bar and ignored us as we tried to get her attention.

For the appetizers, portions were ridiculously small, and the cocktails were pricey, but not balanced, or crafted thoughtfully enough to justify the $17 price tag! The birrias and carnitas were just mediocre. Could have definitely done with a bit of zhuzhing up….maybe a selection of hot sauces to go with it? The only things that were good were the salsa and shrimp tacos.

Overall though, we were super disappointed, because our group was excited to try a place we had heard so much about!
