I used to live in Vancouver but moved away years ago. I always loved Toko and would eat here when I visited. I’m heartbroken they have closed their restaurant. I walked in today after being away about 3 years. They are still there making noodles but no yummy restaurant anymore. They were very nice and told me they closed to the public during Covid. I hope the restaurant comes back!

A no nonsense place. Good food and well priced. Tried their Thai chicken with cashews and it was really good. For drinks, I definitely prefer to go with the Asahi Japanese beer. Their house wines aren't bad either. Service is always good and the food usually comes out quickly. Great place for a lunch or early dinner.

Love this place... Whether eating in or getting take out the food is always great (crispy ginger beef is better eating in because it stays crispy). It is still a favorite with my daughter, has been since she was a kid, and it's a "must do" when she is in town. We were so sad when it briefly shutdown last summer for several months, and now so glad they are back up and running again.
