I really loved the California roll. I will definitely recommend to my friends.
Awesome little shop, first time here. Came in for a quick lunch! It was really good and service was also very friendly!! Swing in for a quick bite if you’re around! I wouldn’t hesitate!
Ahhhhmazing so good! I had the beef and rice bowl. Little spicy a little sweet. Lettuce for a little crunch was a good touch. I'd eat it every day. It also came with a little soup which was light and flavorful.
This place is top notch. First off at a time that I have become fearful of fish due to never knowing the quality now a days, I always feel safe going here. The fish is always fresh and delicious. Second the prices are incredibly reasonable at a time where inflation makes prices sky high Tokyo Joes makes it that their high quality food is also affordable. Third the staff are so kind. I am always greeted by smiling and caring staff. I would 100% encourage people to go here.
Fast service, relaxed atmosphere, good quantity for a low price.

What an amazing experience! I’ve been enjoying their sushi lunch since 2006, and the service has always been exceptional. Thank you for the consistent quality and dedication over the years!

Found a big sharp bone in the chicken teriyaki roll. Luckily didn't swallow it. The sushi quality has gone downhill and the amount of fish/meat you get in the roll in comparison to other local places is tiny.
Very nice people father and daughter helped us.

Dropped in for lunch today, ordered beef and chicken teriyaki rolls. Fresh and tasted amazing, definitely coming back here.
The quality of the sushi was very nice. The price was unbeatable, the staff were quiet but did their job. 4 stars just because the restaurant itself could use a good scrubbing.

Been going here for 3 years. This guy is just the absolute best, rice is always perfectly warm, sticky and cooked. The veggie platter with the yam, gawd DAMN! I upgrade the cucumber to avocado rolls or California rolls. Best simple sushi go to sushi in Van city! He’s also the nicest, sweetest dude.

If you're looking for quick affordable sushi, this would be it. They have a lot of selection and for what it is, it tastes pretty good. It's pretty small inside. Not a fancy place so don't expect a lot of service.
Vegetarian options: Quite a bit of vegetarian options.
