We had a great time, the food was delicious and the service was super nice!! Thank you so much. I recommend this AYCE and we will be back for sure ??
Bad, bad, bad service, the waitress was nowhere to be seen, only the robot comes to the table. They brought whatever food they wanted, of course always the cheaper items, forget about the sashimi, they never bring it and when they do it is super small. Very politely we told the waitress that we did not enjoy our evening and she did not even reply, was she a robot too?, mmmm it makes sense now. I have never not tipped until tonight,
For an all you can eat sushi place it is really advertising that in the amount they give. I’ve had their lunch bentos twice and was satisfied by the quality, portion and price. I can tell that the staff really care about providing good service as I order there on my lunch break for takeout. Today I was feeling cold probably from being hungry and feeling a breeze. The waitress closed the door and served me a cup of tea while I waited. I so appreciate the thoughtfulness and attentive care.
Best all you can eat sushi I have encountered in the Vancouver area. The food was fine, of good quality, with good presentation and lots of variety was available on the menu. For the price you pay it's really quite good for what you get. Plus, a cute robot delivers your food. No complaints. It's nice to still have all you can eat sushi places exist when there is inflation everywhere and a la Carte sushi becomes too expensive to fill you up. Here you can literally eat as much as you want and order everything to your heart's desire for a standard price of $40.00 a person.Thank you for a great meal.
Fish was fresh and sushi were delicious. The new renovation made the space bright and clean. 10/10
Ive been coming here since 2005 . Amazing all you can eat and the food taste has stayed the same for that long! Favourite thing is beef short rib and oyster motyaki. Absolutely amazing! The price has gone up substantially. Its 36 bucks now which is very high. It sucks because it used to be like 25. The price went up because they have automated robots that serve u. Its kind of sad because the old waitresses were so nice to see before and the staff and owner is all new now.
I would subtract 0.5 stars for my negative point at the bottom...Overall, it was a pleasant enough AYCE dinner on a Friday night for about $48/ person with tip. We arrived at 6pm and even without reservations were seated promptly. You should make a reservation if you are going to arrive after 7pm as the restaurant filled up by then. Our food arrived quickly right after ordering. The sheer amount and quality of food that I ate was more than reasonable for that price. The robot servers were fun and there were enough real servers coming by repeatedly with tea and water as well. The soy sauce and ginger had to be requested. Ordering had to be done online via their QR code. I liked how their female washroom was well-lit and clean - I always judge a restaurant by their washrooms. My only negative point was the arrival of the first dish. The female server spilled the ebi sunonomo all over my wrist and splashed it on my dress when she brought it, causing a sticky and smelly mess. Be careful!
This place doesn’t deserve all the negative reviews. Vancouver foodies… it’s an AYCE place. Set your expectations low and you will be pleasantly surprised. The aburi salmon is good, so our group definitely ordered our “moneys worth”. You are not going to get this much selection and pieces from a regular sushi place for the same price anymore. AYCE is sacrificing quality for quantity, and for the experience.⭐️ Enjoyed the gyoza, salmon teriyaki, goma ae, sashimi, and selection of rolls. The chopped scallop is okay. Everything is by the piece!Mango pudding is just as I remembered from Ninkazu ❤️ yummy place, great for big groups because you can each order individually from a QR code that sends it to the kitchen, and the little cat robot is very cute. Surprisingly none of our orders slipped, but they do combine the orders for the table if you order from multiple devices. We had 9 people.Service is a bit slow but friendly. If you talk with your friends or browse your phone, you won’t notice it. We left full and happy.
Did not enjoy this sushi. Was looking for a good all you can eat place in Vancouver and the reviews said this one was great. The pieces of sashimi were VERY small and the variety wasn’t enough. All the rolls that came were okay but nothing special. The place looked a little run down as well. I did not like the fact the I had to google what a lot of things were on the menu. The servers are very sweet and took care of us. The sushi robot cat was cute. We also did not get a lot of things we asked for. All in all I’d probably never come back here. Being a tourist, I don’t think this is a testament of what Vancouver sushi is.
Food was great, our robot server was mediocre at best but the fish was exceptionally fresh. This business has changed hands over the last couple years and the menu simplified(sized down) sadly the fresh oysters are no more !?
Restaurantji Recommends
Quality is better than before. What really impressed me is how accurate the ordering is. The amount we ordered was perfect and all items came. Prices did increase, and now caters to a more upscale experience. Compared to what this restaurant used to look like, it has come a long way. Also, there is a robot serving food, but still able to flag a server with ease. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Oh my god! What a good restaurant. It is my first time to have ALL YOU CAN EAT in Vancouver. The food is tasty and the staff is professional. I highly recommend all of you to try this restaurant.
I just had to walk over to check Tomokazu out. Fabulous food - assorted sushi etc plus mango pudding and orange slices to end the feast. There are two automatic delivery robots to amuse you as well.
I loved this place! So much variety of food that I don’t see at other AYCE places! The food robots were fun and the staff were very polite! I’ll come back for sure!
The {young boy} manager was very impudent and awkward. Without gloves, he put bowls on the table. There is no soy sauce and tea on the table. The boss's decision is contradictory. The food is excellent, and the other waiters are pleasant except for this guy..This is not the first time that this guy who work on enter and checking reservations is very rude.
