We had to rush out of the building, as the place closed immediately at 6pm like everything else on Granville Island! We went in after looking for a long time for any open restaurants, and when we purchased a small box of yam fries we were escorted out immediately after receiving it as the place was closing.Otherwise, the yam fries were decent, not the best ever, but it was our only option at 6pm and filled us up enough to watch improv at 7:30. You would think they would stay open longer if they could make more money after 6pm? Most people only start eating dinner at or after 6? Anyways, decent food and decent prices for their location.

Went to this restaurant last Saturday. Small place family owned. Ordered Halibut 2 pieces to share with my sister.Unfortunately the fish served to us was not Halibut not sure what it was. Made a complaint to the waitress. She insisted that was a Halibut . Please be aware that you maybe will be scammed and served not what you ordered.

Don't let the small unassuming space fool you. The fried halibut and fried oysters were perfection. Hot, crunchy fries and mild coleslaw, and you have the ideal simple fried seafood meal!

The most delicious halibut fish and chips. Lovely waitress and prompt service quiet atmosphere. The cost is affordable as well for the quality of each dish!Kid-friendliness: Considering our children are impatient in restaurants they were very patient and polite.

Had the most wholesome Sunday morning/afternoon meal here. The dining space is quite small but no complaint about it since the vibe is good. Tried their special of the day clam chowder soup + fish and chips, and both tasted incredible. The staff was really friendly and sweet, we even loved how fast the food arrived. I’d say definitely a must try in Granville Island.

Vancouver's rudest and unscrupulous restaurant! To be honest, I will not recommend this restaurant. All its dishes are on the more expensive side, and portions are smaller than those at a typical fine-dining restaurant.I ordered breaded oysters. There were only 4 oysters in one meal. The oysters were not fresh and tasty soggy and inelastic. The dough was too thick and the taste was not good! The servers are Chinese and Vietnamese girls. Their service is not up to standard. One of them was offended by her excessively frequent inquiries about additional food, interrupting guests' meal conversations. When checking out, the tipping options on the credit card machine only had 18%+ tip options, and one of the female servers was rude, staring at the customer's credit card machine to choose which tip option. There is no doubt that her service was substandard. I do not let my family and friends to come here and get scammed. This is not how the restaurant works. If you go into business expecting to make a killing, you'll never learn to truly serve your guests.

Fish was not great in taste and felt dry and not fresh. Fries were mediocre. Batter was okay though.

My first time here was great and the food was flavorful but the second time around, the food was so bland I immensely disliked it. Will not go back. The service was great, though.

Christie was so great! Food was good and affordable. Clam chowder was hot and creamy. Fish and chips were crispy and delicious! A great find! Will be returning my next trip to Vancouver.
