Classic Chinese gathering place offering simple dim sum. With a deep understanding of traditional simple techniques.
The food and the price are good, staff for lunch are friendly and helpful.

Parrking is limited. Everything fresh, hot, and well made. A little more expensive than I expected but the portion sizes are a little bigger than other places but expect simplicity. All the favorites were there, goodness typical meal,

If you’re a regular customer they will give you VIP discount which includes free tea and 10% off. Rice roll with fish paste in crispy bean curd sheet especially well executed.

However, the environment is a bit outdated and dirty carpet, table and utensil not so clean. Located in plaza, private room available
average chinese food.

My wife and daughter are from Hong Kong, and we live in Toronto. We visited Vancouver for a week and stopped at this restaurant for some dim sum and dinner. The flavors were amazing, big portions and a huge selection. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. This spot was much better than a few other places we tried. A must-try when you’re in the area!

This is my paupau’s favourite restaurant. The food is great and they’re always really nice!

Friendly and smart servers. Quality dimsum, though not fancy, they put effort in the cuisine.

Their siumai is extraordinary. Shrimp chunks inside are fresh, authentic and chewy. Unlike those other restaurants using the tasteless bland shrimp bits.

Taste is very good, very fresh.

My family and I had reservations for a Chinese New Year dinner tonight, but we received a call this morning saying the reservation was canceled. Finding a last-minute restaurant for 16 people is extremely difficult, and we were left scrambling.

When we reached out for a solution, the staff told us there was nothing they could do and then hung up on us! I see another reviewer had the same experience, which only confirms this isn't a one-time issue.

We’ve been loyal customers for years, but after today’s poor service and unprofessional attitude, we will be reconsidering our future visits. Very disappointing.

We booked a table for 12 people for January 25th ( tomorrow) on January 9 which I believe it is pretty ahead of time already. Today we went to the restaurant to pick up a menu and the lady in the counter told us that they tried to call us last night to let us know that the table is cancelled because they need to add another table for another customer ( we checked our phone later the day and there was no incoming call from them, they were blatantly lying in front of us) Clearly if we weren’t there this morning we would have been blindsided and would have come tomorrow with no table available for us. We tried complaining but the lady just said that they’re busy right now and can’t accommodate at the moment. I believe this unfair because we booked ahead of time and they’re basically willing to sacrifice one customer for another. I would be very careful when booking with them because they could sabotage you and cancel your booking ONE DAY before and you will leave with nothing. Will never ever come back to them in a LONG TIME

This is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in this area. We've been going here for years, and their custard tarts are amazing. I'm also very fond of their bbq pork chow mein with gai lan. So, so good 👍

By itself given its area, good enough for the locals rather than driving all the way to Richmond or even Burnaby. But going by how long this restaurant has been around for DECADES, which is a rarity in not only todays environment but Chinese industry as well. Has changed hands several times but I digress.

So because of that, was expecting more; haven’t been here in decades.

It’s not as modern interior wise.

Here are the ratings:

1. Eggplant shrimp 3.5/5. Loses star for no sprinkled green onions. Crispy shrimp texture but sauce too much corn starch.

2. Wrapped leaf rice: 4/5. Moist with decent amount of herb rice.

3. That roll: fish wasn’t fried crispy enough, all the sauces and dipping one just wasn’t there.

Lots parking in front as well as the sides street.

Surprised credit cards accepted here lol
