The soup is great, and the owner is generous in providing a good portion of food. A real hidden gem in the food court for real man.

I got takeout today (Aug. 27) and the food was PERFECT!!!! People rave about Ramen Danbo, but that place is mediocre at best.

I bought the creamy chicken black ramen for $16 (I tipped), which I THINK is the tonkatsu black ramen and it tasted SO DIVINE. I’ve been to Japan and all I ate there was ramen and I think this is the closest authentic Japanese ramen I’ve ever had. Noodles was perfect, broth, and chashu. I can’t believe this place is in a food court. I’d definitely get more takeout here.

They don’t take AMEX, which is fine. The service was incredibly friendly. Just the same service I used to get in Japan.

Not the place’s fault, but I was getting catcalled and there were few weirdos around because of the location (downtown East Hastings). Won’t stop me from buying here though!! Can’t wait.

Was recommended Torimaru, so had lunch here for the first time! Located in International Village Mall food court, so there is a lot of seating available. Had the Chicken Ramen ($13.80). It was delicious! Flavourful and creamy broth, good texture in the noodles, and sizeable pieces of chashu. It came with some minced garlic on the side. Satisfying portion size for lunch. Friendly staff and the food didn't take long after ordering. Very solid food court option! Would return.

Actually some of the best ramen in Van. Get the shoyu or miso. Great service and crazy affordable compared to other places.

Torimaru Ramen serves purposefully prepared bowls of Japanese ramen noodles. The broth is authentically freshly prepared over many hours, served piping hot. The noodles are perfectly Al dente in texture.

Amazing ramen hidden in Tinseltown foodcourt! The noodles were perfect, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the ramen egg was delicious. Loved the option of fresh or fried garlic. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Torimaru Ramen is a must-try! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Best Ramen in the city! The owner is an incredible guy, and the food is by far one of the best Japanese food you can find outside here.
